I've been up on the 2nd pitch of City Park a couple times this year and I would have noticed a large bird trying to peck my eyes out cause I was so close to her nest. Nobody else notice it either. Saturday: Out of the blue I bought a big ass truck with a knuckleboom crane for really cheap. Sunday: Climbed at Index with Crazyjz and the real jz. We did a bunch of fun climbs. The theme of the day was Enumclaw animal farm.

I have to say I was all excited to check out the ecosystem destruction at Index today. After reading Ben's diatribe I figured something bad must have happened. What I saw was a few fixed lines on the lower wall, some evidence of recent dirt trundling at the base Godzilla, and the start of Godzilla seemed a little grittier than normal. Oh yeah there were some birds flying around screaching, but it seems like they were doing it for fun as nobody was trundling anything; plus birds never lived on the cleared out ledge. All and all another internet battle turns out to be a tempest in a tea cup yet again. Maybe someday there'll be something worth all the spray that this board generates. Ben you get my whiny ass bitch of the month award. Just how do you figure all those cool crack climbs got so clean at Index?? Trundle this

climbing on a glacier with 2 is much more advanced technique than climbing with 3. Not that you can't do it, but a third person would make the learning curve less steep.

I'd have to quit climbing and you'd have to quit your job for a few years so you could climb full time in order for you to catch up. Sorry folks Muir is alright, but there are many better places to go in the park, but that would require a non sheeplike attitude. I'm curious to see what happened. In an area like the lower town wall I don't think you should do large scale trundling durring a dry day in the summer. If you really want to clean a new route suck it up and get wet and cold while doing it in the early spring. Gary, this isn't grad school; this is the real world. I don't think the issue is whether pot should be legal or not. The fact is that it is illegal. If Ivan or anyone else wants to protest the law or talk about what load of crap it is that's fine. What is wrong is involving third parties in your protest who have not consented to be part of your story or protest.

I completely disagree. My father climbed, and I found what he did inspiring. While he never had any major problems in the mountains, I still feel that his, " selfish," hoby would have inspired me no matter what.
