That was fantastic. I used to go to SB all the time since we had to get up super early to work and when you're trying to maximise your sleep time you don't get up early enough to make your own. SB was the only joint open at that hour. Thank god I don't have to get up that early on a regular basis any more. If I want coffee out any more there's a wide array of choices out there.

The only time I stood in front of a judge he said something like, "You guys are a bunch of idiots," I responded with, "Yes sir your honor I totally agree," In the end we had to pay a fine, but after 6 months it was off my record which was a very good thing. It's been a few years since then, and now it's just a funny story.

I didn't see any AT skiing in the video. Did I miss some? The tele part looks nice, but I don't think I'll go until you represent all skiers. I'm sure there are other ways to give money to the NWAC who deserve money. Besides that's right durring Rope Up.

That's a steep fine. Ask me some time off the record about the fine me and a buddy got down on the Narrows bridge. I've never gotten a ticket from the forest service, but I've been given written warnings for being uncooperative. The parks and the forest service do some good stuff, but they sure can behave like pricks. I think their bosses yell at them too boost the revenue coming in more than just do their job. As NWA would say, "Fuck da police....."

Brand new safety straps today.

I've never climbed in the Sandias either, but I hear they're good. Any true northwesterner would love the wet cold and snow. If you don't like upcoming weather get out and stay out Joseph.

I just put my skis on in the living room; it has been a 15 or 16 month time out for me. I'm sure my doctor would disapprove, but if he only knew what I've been climbing. I just need to sharpen my skis reglue the skins and get a new set of safety straps and I'm there.

Skiing..... fuck yeah

It wasn't for calling someone a name, and it wasn't about politics, you were just being an asshole about a missing hiker and that shit irritated me. If it makes you feel better Seahawks you were a subject of discussion between moderators. None of us had a problem with giving you a time out.

Coffee is my main drug. Right now I'm drinking this green tea stuff called enviga. I do make special trips to this place that has all these crazy German NA beers. The labels say, "less than.5% alc", so I guess I do get some alcohol, but I never feel drunk.

Hmmm is there a company with a snowmobile and a rope that could give you a tow in?

Those adds by McDonalds encouraging everybody to super size it really piss me off. I'm sure McDonalds must know the health problems caused by encouraging people to overeat.

Todays kids have even more information to make decisions from that I did. All I had as a kid was the nightly news with the VietNam war on TV and talking to people. I was able to make up my own mind about signing up. Today kids can see all the effects of the Iraq war on TV, but there are also thousands of sources from both sides of the debate out there. An add on the internet will probably carry as much weight as the great Coca-Cola Pepsi debate.

Fuck breaks; straps straps straps

I've competed in 5 or 6 competitions back in the 90s; it's a pretty fun thing to do. More recently I've been in the role of judge. The best one I judged was at Volunteer Park in Seattle where the competition was for the international title. You have to win a regional event before you can take part in the international event. I believe the next big event is in St. Louis. This year our region will be represented by the fellow from Kelowna BC. Sorry I can't find his name. Wayne, Sorry I'm not a professional photographer. The judge in the tree is just that, and the climber competing is in no way also a judge. Feel free to ask questions; rock/mountain climbing isn't quite the same as tree climbing.

That was a great post, and a good time of year to stick that up. -
It looks like the ideal forecast to me. Hey Joseph get a pair of skis or go south and stay there.

At least in the words of his song I don't think Neil Young agrees with you, but I don't know how Neil feels in the real world. I agree that fading away is better than burning out. RIP

I was involved in a project in North Beach back a few years ago. These folks on top of this hill hired a sleazeball tree service (I've never worked for one, but they're all over) to cut down all the trees blocking their view. The company didn't ask questions like they should have and started cutting. The folks who lived below and actually owned the trees came home to find their hill littered with trees that had been whacked and left on the hill. The company I worked for got hired to document the damage for the real owners then clean stuff up. The fallen trees were so far up a steep hillside we had to get a crane on site for 2 days to haul the trees and branches away. When we got going the folks above sent down this douchebag lawyer to talk to me. He told me to shut down because a court order was on the way. I told him to come back with the court order and a cop and then we could talk. The dude walked away and never came back. After days of clean up we had to replant for weeks. Even after that the hill became unstable due to tree loss and their was a huge slide that buried several owners houses below. After that a geologist and some other construction guys got called in to stabilize the hill and we had to replant again. That job was fucking nuts after a year and a half of very expensive work the folks who illegally tried to improve their view got sued and lost to the tune of triple damages .... a boat load of money.

I'm going to have to remember some of those lines the next time a telemarketer calls.

He was given a time out for his own good.

Huh? You really need to stop smoking crack Ya know I find myself disagreeing some of the time with KK since he seems to be of a more republican type. On the other hand I can understand what he's saying most of the time, and this is a free country where debate is a normal part of life. All I can tell about you virendra7 is that you need to be forcibly placed in psychological care by trained professionals.

First we're going to take control of that beach then we're going to surf those killer waves.
