    BECK

I've never had any problems whatsoever reaching TG at the brewery.
  2. Although I agree with some of wht Mattp is saying, I think its interesting that he appears to be shifting the blame away from attorneys and onto the insurance industry. Of course, the insurance industry would lead you to believe its greedy attorneys. Serendipity. I think the biggest challenge to our tort system is a lack of personal responsibility. When I was a kid and did something stupid like jump off the roof of the house using a garbage bag as a parachute and hurt myself I was taught to take my licks and quit whining. Now its like winning the lottery: those damn garbage bag manufacturers didn't warn me against using it as a parachute. When did we stop taking responsibility for our actions and abdicate that role to the courts?
  3. How much? Depends on what you want--its custom-made to your specs. Anywhere form 100-150 or so.

    Fetish

Cool--very glad to hear it. Two bozoz were trundling at Ingalls as we hiked past the lake. As they did so hikers were walking below them. Someone on the other side of the lake yelled at these morons to stop--which they did for about 10 minutes before firing right back up.
  5. I stand corrected. Its a "highly water-repellent fabric." I tested mine under a running hose and it didn't leak though.

MisterE-- That wasnt you and a friend trundling at Ingalls Saturday evening was it?
  7. Shameless plug: a friend custom-makes bivvy sacks out of Epic and its super light. Its not bombproof but it may be difficult to find a sack that is waterproof/breathable AND both light and durable.

    Big I (short for "imagination")
  9. Nothing like reviving a year-old thread eh Bill?
  10. That must be new. I admit to not going to frenchs this year but as of last year you didn't have to pay to park there.

    Mmmmm beeeer

Isn't Labatts considered the beer of choice amongst our gay brethren? Not that there's anything wrong with that.
  12. Sisu-- My example was responding to the criticism that the airlines should have constructed stronger doors on the airplanes. Its foreseeable by the airlines that a hijacker will try and gain entry to the cockpit--just as its foreseeable that a T-bone collision will occur.
  13. Try douching more often.
  14. A few years ago, a certain auto manufacturer made a certain auto that qualified as a passenger auto in its 2WD configuration and an SUV in its 4WD configuration. Aside from the above difference the only other difference was the presence of side-impact door beams in the 2WD version (required). Because the 4WD version met qualifications for an SUV it did not have to meet the more stringent safety requirements of the passenger auto. Rather than just include the side-impact doorbeams in the 4WD version the manufacturer chose to save a few bucks (I seem to recall that is was a net cost of less than $200). Do you think the manufacturer should be sued for saving a few bucks on the 4WD version? The parents of the kids injured in the T-bone accident sure did.
  15. Has anyone used these tools much? Any opinions on them?
  16. The lawsuits made the front page of todays Oregonian although it noted that no cases have been filed in the US District Court for Oregon. I have little sympathy for an industry that is so corrupt it rivals the Bush administration in lies and deceit. I do feel for the artists.
  17. Mazamas have a hiking class don't they Ursa?
  18. Is he still the Oregon rep for the Access Fund?
  19. Is her name Danielle -?
  20. Only thing missing is a pillow to bite.
  21. My 20th is next year. I didn't much care for high school the first time around and I certainly don't want to hang out with these morons reliving those painful memories 20 years later.
  22. Given the fact that you actually devoted time looking for them one can only assume that you fall within that 80th percentile.
  23. "Wait a second, I need to freshen my gloss."
  24. Fish is not a product. Its a fish. As for labeling, I can't speak to Washington but down here in Orygun they label farm salmon as such as well as note that the fish is dyed to resemble wild salmon.
  25. What the hell is in that guys pants? A fishtank?
