Wow, so Obama is a) Muslim; b) An Arab; c) A Cult of Personality. So, this thing has gotten so far out of hand that all that is left is to put together semi-entertaining videos that perpetuate a stereotype about charismatic people? How about coming up with a good plan to get the fucking country out of debt? Although a bit more complicated than editing video montages, I'm sure someone right of center can do it, can't they? Ya sure, ya betcha, ;-)

I'm with you on this one. I had given McCain serious consideration given his record. However, I believe he sold too much of his independant soul for his parties nomination. I could see him moving (further) to the center in an effort to improve his chances. However, there seems to be a dim-bulb right wing extremeist on the ticket that would continue to negate that. As far as Obama goes; he took on the Democratic Party establishment and beat them. He may be just like all politicians in that what we are hearing will be different than what we see, but after this last eight years I'm just ready for a change in scenery. Hell to that end, I may be voting for Rossi or abstaining in the Washington Gubenatorial race.

So delivering the message (package of lies) on behalf of the administration makes Gen. Powell a liar? Where's the link Peter?

jeezus jake! my impacted sinuses are now cleaned out thank to the 7-up that just passed through them!

I call bullshit. Republicans have a trademark on the Family Values platform. I'm pretty sure that the Dems run on the "I'll fuck anything of legal age" platform.

Wow FW, what a gotcha! I suppose Biden's political slips are the cause for Palin being a fringe right-wing fucking loon? Who is our third choice here anyway?

true dat. nothing to see here folks, move along.

She will make a great VP!

her performance in The Aristocrats was side splitting.

Overall, it seems that the campaign did a good job preparing Palin for this debate. Not that she had a lot in the way of substance, it was much the same as Friday night; campaign slogans an quoting meaningless statistics. She did however come off as pretty poised and held her own. She and Biden were very respectful of each other and neither seemed overly antagonistic. They seemed to out of their way to agree with eachother an awful lot; and obvious strategy to appeal to the middle. When she rebuked Biden about looking to much to the past he could have easily gone off on how the Republican ideology got us into this mess and as the current standard bearers (as much as that standard is hidden in a trojan horse) that she and McCain do represent the status quo. Overall, I don't think either side expected to win; it sure looked like another draw to me.

Funny, I got n e-mail from my brother in Texas saying essentially the same thing, only it was Obama dumping Biden in favor of Hillary Clinton.

get real. The further to the left or right you are stuck, the greater the perception that "your" guy won. Neither candidate took a significant blow in last nights debate. The post debate rhetoric seems to be largely ignoring the fact checking that gives a clearer picture on whos campaign has a better grasp on things.

George Will just gave his opinion that Obama did a better job and was the probable winner.

gotta say, McCain did better in form and substance.

Look, none of these reports came from Faux news. How can they be relied on?

Well, why is Rossi ashamed to admit he's Republican? He's listed his party as "prefers GOP" because he polls a number of points higher than when he lists "prefers Republican," that's why he wants to confuse the voters, and the King County Democrats want him to wear his affiliation clearly. Doesn't sound desperate or pathetic to me, it sounds like both sides trying to control the conversation to achieve their objective. You know, sort of like a political campaign. I believe that is a tactic employed by the State Republican Committee in an attempt to distance themselves and their poster worthy candidates from the negative images the main stream media cultivates about the republicans.

your point?

If there were a third choice I'd feel better. Right now, he may be the lesser of two evils. Any idea what he's gonna cut from the general fund to pay for his transportation plan? Yeah, me neither.

And the idiot still thinks that history will exonerate him. Probably will if Faux new becomes the official presidential historian.

Moms see or hear about SNL's "doin' the kids" skit last week and get pissed. I think you're underestimating the power of indignation. Ya know, I think Palin's mis-doings will be the McCain Ticket un-doing. The general public has shown that they will stop and enjoy every trainwreck that gets put on the screen or the press, and it probably won't sway their vote one way or the other. Unless their really fucking stupid enough to believe 3/4 of what's on CNN or Faux. The Demcrats are probably no less evil than the repicans, but after the last eight years of George W. Major Fuck Up, I think its time for a change. Since McCain and Palin are having their strings pulled by the same puppeteer as dubya, they probably ain't gonna be any better. Watching the repicans not take accountability for the mess their last eight years of policy has created conjurs up the vision of a ship captain who has blown a hole in the bottom of his boat saying that the ship isn't sinking, the water's rising because there are too damned many Demcrats in the ocean. There, I'll leave you smart fuckers to call each other names now. Bisches.

The GOP is apparently urging people to vote in a PBS poll to demonstrate wide support for the proposition that Sarah Palin is qualified to be a heart beat away from the Oval Office. The poll asks: Is Sarah Palin qualified to be VP? Yes or No. When last checked the ayes were leading. You do not have to give your name or email to vote. It's very simple; here's the link: You folks know what to do!
