  3. checking for wear will be a pain in the ass as the stems have rubber over them
  4. dude.. u should give him ur # if you want him to call u!
  5. Reinhard is gonna be stoked.... I am too!!
  6. North Ridge is a great route, but I wouldn't try it in winter if you have no winter experience. The ice section is short too, I don't know how much ice would be exposed with the amounts of Snow Baker gets.
  7. unless you go REALLY late in the season there is always snow.... if you go early the entire scree slope is a 5 minute glissade.
  8. Road walk wasn't that bad at all IMO.. the trail down however was living hell. And as Ivan mentioned, the lack of water. I took a nice cold shower under the drippy cliff to fill a water bottle.
  9. the uni-cycle kid rocks!
  10. Have you read about Texplorer's trip to Slesse where he thought he was on the NEB, didn't realize he was off route till pitch 10 and put up a new route?
  11. IMO that crag looks a little sketchy/dirty... But it could be good, just not quite the splitter granite like Squamish and Harrison. If you guys think u have soft grades come clibm in Suamish, if you climb 5.6 in the alpine you can prolly flash a 5.11 in Squish.
  12. Absolutely! You can see it on the approach and climb, until you dip behind the west side of Slesse on the descent.
  13. 1200 - 1500 feet probably
  14. go to 'the yard sale' forum and list it with the prices.
  15. What kind of rock is 'ozone' made of?
  16. I don't see it.... am I blind or something?
  17. South Illusion?

I tried it and dropped the bottle on my balls, beware.
  19. the links not working
  20. I can't see a route this incredibly poplar being that incredibly scary. I've been told by lots of beginner climbers that it was 'fun'.. no mentions of 'scary or dangerous' ... anyways, someone who climbs 13 pitch 5.10's can certainly do a 4 pitch 5.6 If you go send me some pics dude cuz I want to see them! Have fun! Marc
  21. this it?
  22. I gues Ill just have to solo the south face in a single winter day and then fly off the summit with my parapente
  23. I think your Aconcogua climb is gonna one-up me.... youve still been at higher altitude than me.. at least Ive actually been higher than 8000 feet now.
