End of DADT, withdrawing legal defense of DOMA, and now this. As much as conservatives (Rick Perry, for ex.) may frame this as a 'special rights for gays' issue, the US should can and should discourage countries like Cameroon and Uganda from executing people just for being gay, using foreign aid as an incentive.
