  1. I wonder if JohnDavidJr would want to buy one of these new fangled tents? Solar Tent Linky
  2. Nice, we must have just missed, or talked to you. We were on Prussik the 27th. What at amazing area, can't wait to go back.
  3. CAMERA FOUND!!! Andrew found my camera and the pictures from my new Costco camera are now en-route back to me. Whoo Hoo!!! He said, "The camera was so good.. I could zoom in and read your name on the back country permit... However the tag was turned around and I could only see the back side of the permit"... That little camera rocks. I don't like the fact that it does not have a view finder and it also has an issue with the function dial moving out of position. It has a very short first shot delay for a digital, which is nice. Can't wait to get the pics back.
  4. LOST on 6/28/2009, Panasonic Lumix ZS1 point & shoot camera. Left on roof of car at Snow Creek trail head. Lots of pics of our Enchantment Trip and climbing Prussik Peak. Pulled out of the Snow Creek Parking lot onto Hwy 2. Found the case about 1/4 mile west of Snow Creek trail head parking lot but camera not anywhere to be found. Just hoping someone picked it up off the road and it finds it way back to me. More interested in the memory card than the camera itself. CASH REWARD IF FOUND AND RETURNED TO ME.
  5. one 60 is fine Thanks!!
  6. So, can you do the raps with one 60 meter or one 70 meter rope or should I bring the double 8mm x 60 meter ropes?
  7. ???? I know my Kenny's, I just remember LCK having a bit more hair. WWK and I may go do Prussik this weekend.
  8. What happened to Kenny's hair? You have to make a rope out of it?
  9. Hopefully, the dude still has his Credence... I'm sure they have a team of detectives working in shifts to solve the case.
  10. Absofrigganloutly Dave, but only if you invest $500 to get it working correctly for your body resonance. As the local....errrr....WonderBeamâ„¢ Mfg, I will need to get it calibrated correctly specifically for you so that the harmonic distortion is minimized so as to maximize the effect. 5.11 is easy, I can't guarantee you 5.12 cracks, but it's happened......let the miracle of modern science help you fulfill your dreams. Cash or Check? I will beam it over in cash, you are the man!
  11. How about a clucking forum?
  12. Dude, that thing is cool, will it make me lead Beacon 5.11?
  13. Sweeet, can't wait to go there later this summer! Awesome pics!!!
  14. No, I have not gotten any further than THINKING about checking it out. I really hate bouldering as it is a bit boring for me. But, since it is so close (about a five minute drive from home), it would be a good training option when Beacon is closed. Not sure if I will make it over there before Beacon opens up but it would be nice to have the beta to get there.
  15. Thanks Joseph!
  16. I'm guessing by the location listed on your profile this area is bit far as these boulders are in the Columbia River Gorge, right outside of the town Cascade Locks (which is 15 minutes west of Hoof River). I've been wanting to check this place out too so good directions would be nice.
  17. Woah, really? I thought it was just cause Wayne was climbing it in a thunder storm, so were we...
  18. A buddy had the same thing happen at Beacon last summer with his first master cam. The cam is still there today as far as I know. He called Metolius and they had a brand new one on his doorstep the next day. I have a set purchased after the defect was fixed and have not had any problems. In fact, I placed the orange one very poorly and spent a few minutes trying to get it replaced. I was about to pump out and take a whipper so I just went for it knowing full well the placement was shit. I finally peeled off about 8-10 ft above the cam and thought for sure it was not going to hold as I knew it was a shit placement. However, somehow in the fall, both of the outside lobes got spun around 180 degrees and it still held like a passive nut. I turned the lobes around and it is fine now, other than the cable has a permanent squiggle in it. I really like the master cams but they do seem to get stuck easier than my other cams.
  19. Working on it. The hot guy may be a problem though. Have your photographer contact my agent and I will see if I can squeeze in a shoot for you. I'm pretty busy right now with the naked climbing calender project though.
  20. That must have been your car we noticed on our way out at the bottom of Goose Egg. Nice to see what we missed as we only completed the first two pitches on Saturday. Pitch one and two were great, can't wait to go back and finish it proper. Why do you think they call it Ride the Lightning?
  21. Strawberries coming out the wazoo, sugar snap peas, asparagus, onions, leeks, lettuce and a few other goodies trickling in. Lots more on the horizon and it looks like my serrano peppers are doing much better than last year since I decided to leave them in the greenhouse this time around. Dave likes his chicken spicy! Taken a couple weeks ago.
  22. Thanks OW, I'm psyched to finally get over there and check it out.
  23. I'm heading over to Tieton this Friday for my first time and was hoping for some beta on the best place(s) to camp. From what little research I did online, it seems Rimrock lake has some nice areas? I don't mind paying a reasonable fee ($10ish/night) but would do just as well with free camping. Any good recommendations? Might as well recommend the best areas to climb there too... Prefer trad, up to 5.10. How is the multi-pitch stuff on Goose Egg? Thanks!
  24. I'm putting up a new 5 pitch aid route to the top of the bathrooms in the parking lot.
