I read an article on "holisticearcandling.com" about a person who had a 45lb tumor removed from his scrotum. That person used a toothpaste that had fluoride in it.

Hydrogen hydroxide is lethal to lab mice. Your stupidity is also lethal to lab mice, as is your descending colon.

I have all my teeth and only one small cavity, thanks to fluoride treatments as a child.

Why is the case close? Because YOUR dentist is disgusted? Lame No, because YOUR dentist thinks it's a good idea.

I went to my dentist and asked her about floridation. She was disgusted that our community, full of undereducated ignorami who would all oppose chlorination of water if given the chance, shot down the floridation initiative. Therefore, floridation is a good idea. Case closed.

Do you rub your pits with a rock for that "Oh So Fresh" stench? Do you brush your teeth with sand? Perhaps you run your D.I. water through a magnet to align it with the healing energy of the cosmos. You certainly haven't heard of hyponatremia, but hey, don't worry, the magnet will take care of it. P.S.: I just took a dump in your garden, how's that for E. coli.

John Frieh: Formerly know as "NOLSE" Why did he drop that moniker?

My friend Fatty, on construction sites, would often dig a hole with the backhoe, jump in, cover himself and the hole with a blue tarp, and do his business.

Just came back to pay my tribute to a few good men, here, and, of course, to Sam Coleridge. Thanks for reminding me. But thou, my babe ! shalt wander like a breeze By lakes and sandy shores, beneath the crags Of ancient mountain, and beneath the clouds, Which image in their bulk both lakes and shores And mountain crags : so shalt thou see and hear The lovely shapes and sounds intelligible Of that eternal language, which thy God Utters, who from eternity doth teach Himself in all, and all things in himself. Great universal Teacher ! he shall mould Thy spirit, and by giving make it ask. Therefore all seasons shall be sweet to thee, Whether the summer clothe the general earth With greenness, or the redbreast sit and sing Betwixt the tufts of snow on the bare branch Of mossy apple-tree, while the nigh thatch Smokes in the sun-thaw ; whether the eave-drops fall Heard only in the trances of the blast, Or if the secret ministry of frost Shall hang them up in silent icicles, Quietly shining to the quiet Moon. How about a Haiku: I'm taking a shit. It curls on top of your head. Once again, you lose.

Mike: Doctors know EVERYTHING. Just ask! When the ophthalmologist couldn't figure out what was wrong with my eye, I replied: "That's OK, you're only practicing medicine." Needless to say, he was not happy. In the words of a great man: "Doctors? Doctors are idiots."

[TR] Red Rocks - Resolution Arete 11/26/2006
Choada_Boy replied to layton's topic in Rock Climbing Forum
MONEY!! I distinctly recall falling asleep while belaying on the morning of Day 2 while Jay dealt with the "Death Chalk" pitch. The view of a silent Vegas at night from the bivy ledge atop pitch 16 was so friggin' weird I'll never forget it. -
This?: or this?: I agree with Bob that Messner's not the hardest of the hard, but he pushed the envelope for sure. People thought he and Habler would DIE without O's. When he soloed E, he left his GF in the tent, and they were the only two on that side of the mountain. Having said that, the Eastern europians and Slavs were(are) SICK. The Poles especially were doing mean and nasty O-less FAs at 8000m back in the day. I guess the horrors of WW2 and it's social and economic aftermaths made the suffering of hard Alpinism seem like a luxurius vacation.

Traditional Workouts=Ice Climbing Strength?

Fern: What is the advantage of a "kipping" PU vs your standard ROM PU? Seems like you can get more reps, but I'm sure that's not the goal. -
Those matches will come in handy when you're trying to build a bonfire out of snow in a blizzard.

Watch out for the beer. It'll ruin your morning.

best of cc.com TAUNTAUNS - WORTH THE WEIGHT????
Choada_Boy replied to Cobra_Commander's topic in Spray
Tauntauns are 2 m (6.6 ft) tall bipeds, indigenous to the ice planet Hoth. Tauntauns are covered with white fur, downturned horns, four nostrils, and have a foul body odour. They are omnivorous, subsisting off lichens found in hoarfrost as well as eating mushrooms and other fungi found in ice caves. They give birth to two young at a time, twice in one Hoth year. They are used as mounts by the Rebel Alliance, and have been exported offworld to other cold-climate regions (including Coruscant's polar caps) for use as mounts, beasts of burden, and tourist attractions. The thick layers of fat and fur provide adequate protection from the cold during the daytime, but tauntauns cannot survive the plummeting night temperatures without shelter. Tauntauns are sometimes preyed upon by the wampa.- 158 replies
