I have one of each these days. My experience with the pros and cons of each is pretty consistent.
I also think my G3's grip better, but there are way too many other variables involved to make a definative statement on this.

I got em this year and have only a few days on them. My intenet was more for a "75% on 25% off" set up.
I am a pretty aggressive skier, and they do fine at the resort. For tourng, the whole setup with those boots and Naxos are heavier than my Megarides and Dynafit Bindings (duh), but it's not like dragging a sack of lead.
For what I wanted, they are a really great boot, and I am pleased with the purchase. I can keep up with a pretty fit crowd going up and ski pretty fast coming down. But they will be sitting in my gear closet this May when we do a 5 day tour through the North Cascades Just like my Megarides will on my next trip to Meadows
As an aside, the interchangable sole was not a selling point for me. I do not beleive you can switch between them on the same binding without changing the toe height binding adjustment. Perhaps if you had a couple of sets of skis though.
Hope this helped.

Oh Oh... I was outed as a Shifty!
John I ride past that OHSU tram daily, but live at Mt Tabor where I practice my alpine skills and acclimatizing to 600 feet elevation. I think the Tram Station looks like the alien craft in the latest War of the Worlds movie.
What are the legal consequences of scaling the tower? It might be worth it... Especially a FA.

Here you go. You posted the url to the whole page, not the image only. Right click the image and choose properties and then use that url. I had the same issues a while back.
Portland Pansies. I rode by bike into work.
I was not as concerned about the roads as I was about the P-Town drivers who see snow once every other year and never venture up to the mountains. I was riding in the bike lane (lines not visible due to snow) and some a-hole is behind be blasting his horn.

We went yesterday (Thursday). All you neededed to do was dress appropriately for about 6-13 degrees, and there was lots of good snow and no lift lines.
Well worth burning a PTO day for me.
