My Fathers Day was the best one of my six so far. Woke up to breakfast being made by my amazing wife. My dad and 2 of my 4 brothers came over from breakfast. My wife got me a ping pong table. We spent some time setting it up then playing until our arms dropped off. A bike ride with the family also happened. A cigar with a glass of wine in the shade......best ever. Very relaxing.

"13" is the new Black Sabbath album that was released to the world on Tuesday. I personally think it stands up to anything they have put out in the past. I love it. Ozzie sounds great and Toni....you are the riff master. The metal gods have given us a gift.

So last time I climbed Half Dome. There were tons of folks on top. So all those people will need a permit now to walk to the top?

Helicopter approaches to the base of the route don't count as real climbing and you know it. DAMN.....ouch

but do i need a permit now to walk down the trail? do you mean up the trail? To half dome? You need a permit for a day hike?

Gosh I cant wait for Beacon's south side to open up. Went to Ozone last night....super fun climbing with great weather. But as soon as Beacon opens....no more Ozone. Young Warriors is in my future.......

One of the stores I worked at years ago made about 11 million a year (1996). They took in about $120,000 in returns a year. Then turn around and sell most of it at the used sale. Pretty good turn around if you ask me. I think the main reason everyone shops there is the return policy. If that goes bye bye....I think you can kiss the massive profits REI gets good bye.
