What is your opinion on a sleeping bag wth a center zipper over the chest? It doesn't look to bad but I have not used one.

On snow climbs I rarely bring T.P. anymore. Just use snow. It actually works really good and is very refreshing. On the other hand, ice doesn't work all that well and kind of hurts.

The Mt Shop in Portland has a pair mounted on skis. Don't know what they want for them. The 500 is a better binding, lighter and is compatible with almost any boot.

Has anyone skied these with AT bindings on them? I've heard they are a little softer for you free-heel guys. The Mt Shop has a couple pairs for demo but wont let them go out because of the low coverage. Hopefully after this weekend we'll have enough snow so I can try them.

Read this today. Did you know that Swordfish keep thier eyes and thier brains up to 20 degrees warmer that the water they swim in. The water they swim in can be as cold as 27 degrees.

Don't know if they are good or bad. Being a huge Silvretta fan I'd also like to here how they are. I did talk to a guy at the local ski shop I frequent and was told that he was curious on how the toe peace would hold up because of the way the binding releases.
