Sounds like the rude chatter of an envious man. isn't there like a plane fuselage up there somewhere? maybe you could try to find some mummified remains to desecrate what does the khabbalah say about digging up dead bodies and pokin around in their graves? mebbe it's ok in the jewish religion? does anyone know? i'll have to talk to my jewish friends about this.

if y'all are gonna be getting picky about alpine vs. non-alpine, you cannot have Vanishing Point on the list.

yeah some of the things i've seen people do that they call pull-ups.... pretty funny. either half pulls, or these crazy swinging things where they kip their body like mad. i do speed half pulls for training, both top half and bottom half, but they aren't full pull-ups (of which i can do around 30 with good form and extension). i also do high pulls, where i pull my body as high as i can (without rocking over into a muscle up), and then try to hold it there for a bit. i do feel the stress in my elbows, but nothing that has turned into injury. i could see someone getting effed up by them....

bean sprouts are much better for you. but i'm pretty sure you were older. by 10 years? not that it matters.... i have fully accepted my development into silverback status. funny: my wife asks some fellow at the gym if he'd seen me in the sauna. he responds "is he an older guy? talkative?" i was the only one in there, so yep, it's me. later she was like "hmmmm never thought of you that way!"

i actually care about their climbing style, and actually have enjoyed said style, and continue to enjoy said style. the difference is i'm not a religious zealot about it, blabbing incessantly as if it's the most important topic regarding climbing. damn, i'd like to hear about a climbing trip the old dudes went on recently, instead of wallowing in the past and in their "ethics".

don't ask boner to read, you dolt.

i don't understand ice very well, but it does seem that committing completely to the ice blob on the traverse was a little bit of a crap shoot? as was committing tool tips to some friable rock.... a little weird. don't know what to make of that, especially with filmer hovering over to record it....

BOOOOOO. SIEGE CLIMBER. RETURNING TO A ROUTE YOU FAILED ON. NOT ON-SITE. FAIL.

in vino veritas, says the cabballah

that was my point. bragging about flying a 747 is like bragging about driving a taxi. although it's actually much harder to fly a taxi under a mountain.

i personally enjoy watching people who might struggle a bit at first with something-often because of a lack of confidence-come to learn about perseverance and confidence while they develop proficiency and skill at what it is they are doing. it's especially rewarding when they surpass the arrogant ones who think they are somehow better and more "special" than those who they deem not to be "naturals". i guess it's your arrogance (insecurity) that has kept you in the same boat as dwayner all these years?
-
if your dad was saying that about peeps flying 747s, then i guess it goes hand in hand with your elitism regarding your 5.12 "test-pieces". like father like son.
-
that was obviously rehearsed. only one thing to do: BOOOOOOO.
-
they have told me they will not answer you until you have spilled the beans about what the sharma video taught you.

i'm gonna come to dwayner's defense here for a sec. he does say "no skill and no balls to place", and for the most part, i think that's true with sport climbing. clip and go. i don't care about his "respect" though, and i think very few do, but i gotta say i like the 12,000 pound test bolts he talks about! but regardless, we've all hashed this out before, and it's kinda fun every time. everyone gets to make fun of each other, and hey, without that it'd be pretty boring around here. popy pants gets everyone riled up, and cabalah man works his one note flute pretty well too. i doubt in the end that they take it all that seriously either, but get a good laugh about it all, as i do. btw, i remember climbing with popy pants at uw rock way back in the 80's or early 90's, and he was pretty good! he could clamber up a few of the classics down there. nothing as hard as what i was doing, but he did pretty good for an old man! but cabalah man? not so much. he was always a bit too hefty to try anything harder than the easy entry problems.

"Boo. Booooo. Booooooooo." "wtf, are you trying to scare me?" "No, I am booing you because you are hanging on the rope. Booo. Boooo." "Oh. Carry on then." "ok. Booo. Boooooooo."

i hope you don't teach class when drunk....

i would actually amend the above to say that the state executing individuals is actually more barbaric than one individual's depravities in committing the crime being "punished", because the state's actions ostensibly represent the conscious, mediated, reflective, and higher position of the many, versus the ignorant, impulsive, and animalistic actions of the single individual.
-
the death penalty is a sad remnant of human barbarity outlawed in almost every "civilized" nation, performed here in the US under secrecy and during the dead of night (to hide it from the public). it's beyond disgusting, entirely as offensive as any crime it serves as a penalty for.

Seattle Hand Clinic might be a good place to start. no personal experience there, but they have been recommended to others by a reputable local doc active with a local pro sports team.

and when you're up there fiddling around with that last piece, then going for the moves, think about dave moroles soloing the thing.
