Dear Ouray Ice Park patrons,
Winter weather has been slow to come to the San Juans this season. Current
conditions on the morning of Dec. 7 are such that we do not have climbable
conditions in the Ouray Ice Park. However, it is currently snowing in
Ouray and cold temperatures are predicted to be below freezing all next
week. With any luck, climbing conditions may improve!!
The Ouray Ice Park Board of Directors as well as the staff will walk the
Park Wednesday, December 12 to assess safety and ice conditions. Please
check in with us that evening for an Ice Park conditions update, and
status of the Park's opening on Saturday, December 15.
Have an ice day!!

Memorial. This area is dedicated to the fallen friends of the Ouray Ice
Park. There will also be hay rides in Fellin Park, a Puppy Parade,
caroling and the Holiday Ice Dance at the Historic Wright Opera House to
top off the day. For more information please visit www.ourayicepark.com

Ouray Ice Festival Gear Card
By popular demand, the Festival introduces the Ouray Ice Festival Gear
Card. The Gear Card will enable the card holder to check out gear without
the hassle of presenting each vendor with a driver's license, credit card
or other item of value. Gear Cards have been issued prior to the Festival
to all Ouray Ice Park Members and supporters. If you wish to check out
gear and are not an Ouray Ice Park member, please stop by the Ouray Ice
Park Information Booth during the festival to get yours.
