i had a long drawn out post on the actual working knowledge of snow making and resorts as a whole, but after rereading your post i see logic does not work with an emotionally charged woman.
i hope you never go to any ski resort as you are a purist.
old skool adventure style? well actually lots of people go up into the mountains without a guidebook and climb, crazy shit eh? nice work kids the icicle was quite fun last weekend!
or you could just do multiple routes on scw.
tho i would have to recommend the sierra eastside right now long ski descents and long routes to be had. finnish skiing by 12pm and finnish climbing by 4:20. hot tub with your lady till sleep takes over. life does not get much better then that. a bit of a drive tho!>??
yup you can crawl thru the tree to the left off of fingers. then rap down from another set and swing over to the left to a small ledge and the anchor below the the killer 10b crack.
i think that is how the weakasses can get over there, well i know that that beta atleast gets one to a really cool route and the upper pitch. either way.
i like how cbs only sees the truck traffic as a weekday issue. there are some of us who do not work during the week and rather enjoy the solitude of the weekday canyon.
anyways, i doubt my life will improve in anyone directly by the tunnel or the experiements that would come out of it. i can only see longterm adverse affects for me and my family.
drul 4ft was in 2 daze of snow. we've got a break now but after 9ft in a little over a week i think we are set u pretty nice.
not really concerned with trends or next season. cuz right now we've got more powder and more sunshine then washington.
all ski resorts are overrated. the only good two in the area or sugarbowl and kirkwood.
enjoy the rain!
word on the street(aka one of their trollers from last year) is that they run a haphazard business and one should beaware of the overall cavalier attitude of the employees and the owner.
have fun!
yup we are getting a great early ski season too. sunny, snow, sunny, snow, sunny, snow. instead of talking about it time to go get some! enjoy the office life!
