Done w/ finals on wednesday & looking for someone to head out to l-worth or vantage either wed. night or thursday. Have to be back in seattle @ 8pm on saturday. anyone interested?
-
thanks, I'm definately going to check out those costco things. wish they had something like chicken too.

this stuff is making me hungry. so will meat last if its vacuum sealed? how long will it last for if its out in the heat?
-
I highly doubt that just because a website says its closed means we'll get a ticket. Like Weekend_Climberz said there was no notice on the board or anywhere on the drive in & the Canadians we had talked to said they have been driving back there more than a few times, so don't worry about it. If you're scared then hike in.

Sorry theres not more pictures, too cold so the camera hardly worked + we were pretty lazy. Thanks for the great trip guys! -Jesse

Mainly I'm wondering about how the crevasses are looking.

Bill: here are some things you should try- 1) do your cardio in the morning, since its such a short bike to work I doubt that will be enough, the goal is to have >20mins of constant cardio, so maybe you could run to work, or take your scenic route. Doing cardio in the morning kickstarts your metabolism & gives it more time to burn calories throughout the day & continue into the night rather than doing it at night when it has much less time to run, since metabolism slows down throughout the night. 2) Instead of eating 3 meals a day try & eat 6 smaller ones throughout the day - this is a key part & what pro fighters & other athletes do to keep their weight down. Its hard, but if you make yourself two lunches or something & eat them that is good - also, green foods are really good for you, try & add more. goto http://www.randycouture.tv, click on news then articles, he has a good diet that he used to drop from heavyweight to LHW. 3) This is good suggestion I've heard, try & just cut one thing out of your diet for a week, such as no bread for a week & see what it will do for you, or no bleached pasta, mainly looking to cut a big carb food out for a week & see how that works.

Nitrotech when I lift. I notice strength & endurance gains in the first week everytime I take it. But its expensive, look online for it.

Steph Davis is my dream partner. She'd be my rope gun & the view would be great (Masters of Stone V anyone?)

Do it somewhere where ppl underage can come watch!

What are some good routes @ index in the 5.6-5.9 range? I hear a lot of index is sandbagged, so whatever the equivalent of leavenworth ratings would be. Thanks

Anyone here a marathon runner?

Seattle isn't the best one to go for a fast time. The weather is usually suck & there are some big hills. (Thats what everyone says about the hills, I came straight from cross-country when I did it, so the hills weren't bad at all). My coach from high school said the one in CA that runs along the coast is a really good race, thats the one he qualified for Bostin in. You might want to look into that. -
where are you leaving from? I'd go if I could bum a ride
-
I'd want to go too if no one minds; I'm just a newbie & only done Stuart, Liberty Bell, St. Helens, but am in good shape.
-
I use the Trango S & love them. I just did Stuart in them & they felt great. The only time they got wet was when I crossed a stream & my whole boot went under, but other than that they were fine. Plus they are super lightweight, feels like wearing running shoes.

I have a Canon A80, 4mp. I guess its heavy compared to that x-20, dunno how much it weighs, and costs $330 online (400 @ stores, search around) But takes amazing pictures. You could get the A70, its 3mp and have heard great stuff about it.

How do people like these two cams? Are they good for beginners (good beginning rack)? Any problems with them, or how do they compare to the other kinds of cams? Thanks.
