  1. I'd think men would learn that bragging about how fast they get done with something that most of us consider enjoyable at a more leisurely pace is unattractive.
  2. I wonder what is more important, a legal diagnosis or an accurate one. My guess is that a person who specializes in and has been trained in an area of the body is the one most capable of giving a diagnosis that will help a person heal. Is a "doctor" of Osteopathy able to give a legal diagnosis? (I assume the legal thing is to satisfy insurance requirements, yes?)
  3. Sorry, I didn't see this post until today--or else I would have been there. Next time!!
  4. Isn't that what they think the legend of vampires comes from? (besides Vlad the Impaler, one of my favorite guys)
  5. I am curious about this... Isn't a diagnosis the result of looking at signs and symptoms that the pt brings to you and then pronouncing what you see as wrong? If so, and the pt is suffering from a pulled muscle (or whatever the medical term would be for that), then why couldn't a LMT "diagnose" the pt? Just curious how this all works...
  6. That's my busiest time of the year.
  7. I went on a napa wine tour with a group from work. We just rented/hired a person to drive us around the loop and chose which places we wanted to stop at. THis worked well--and I would say would be worth it even if a small group of you (two or three) paid more just to be sure you didn't have anyone outside your group there. Don't miss Silver Oak--they were wonderful.

  10. The one with the most speed is the one having the most fun.
  11. Um, isn't this one obvious? Why would this need to be a law?
  12. I lost a wee bit of weight last week, but I put it back on over the weekend. I made some mean guacamole one night and dolmas last night. Both were made as fattening as possible and were consumed late at night. I quickly found those lbs that were trying to escape!
  13. As long as you submit...

    No. It said $850,000
  16. I've eaten kangaroo(in Australia.) A bit on the chewy, gamey side, mate. My granddad used to take my brothers deer hunting(again with the brothers getting to do all the fun stuff!). The meat would get ground into "hamburger" and I hated it(not sure if it was the thought or the taste--I just could not enjoy it.) My mom would have to show me one of those styrofoam trays from store-bought meat to convince me that the deerburger was hamburger. Eventually I caught on to this ruse--"mom, why is the styrofoam always so clean if meat just came off it??" She had been hiding the same tray in the cupboard to show me each time. Duh. No wonder I don't miss meat now. That was too weird. you should try rocky mountain oysters Testical Festival
  17. I made little signs for my gummy bears and staged a gummy bear strike. They had things like "equal work for gummies" and "gummies are people too". People didn't get it. I thought it was funny. But then, I really don't like gummy bears.

Voting is a right. Absolute. When I referred to at as a privilege I was wrong. As to why we need to register to vote? Well, um, I never really thought about that. You register so they can keep track of you. You know, no voting twice, no voting if you are 14. etc.

Sorry 'bout that--I can get the Figures of Fury typing thing going. No problem on not being a lawyer--they don't make any legal decisions anyway so it really doesn't matter. Plus, no one likes them. As for the Constitution being vague--it sounds pretty clear in the case you quoted. The states can't take away your voting rights on the account of age. Period. But, this doesn't address the issues at hand: felons, dishonorably discharged people (I didn't know they couldn't vote?), and the proposed group--welfare recipients. So finding the spot that says that the gov't can take away a person's right to vote for whatever reason would be helpful. If anyone knows where this might be written, it would be interesting to read...
