  1. FYI, they sometimes ban tent camping in the parks when the resident bears are out in force. Please stay off-topic. We are now discussing anaphylactic shock. :lmao:POTD
  2. Oh, I beg your pardon. Obviously I meant to say Anger Management Class.
  3. I'm confused here. If you don't think it's appropriate to rehash the bolting debate, why did you start yet another thread about the bolting debate?
  4. I hope this is a troll. Even cops have to fill out paperwork when they kill a bad guy. Of course there are questions asked. If someone in your family got drunk, stumbled into their neighbor's house, and got shot dead, wouldn't you want to at least ask a few questions? What does the law say? Why should I have to interview a person who broke into my house? Not a troll. After last night I'm considering buying a gun for the house. http://www.courts.wa.gov/library/index.cfm Or, you may wish to take the class for your CW permit; they discuss all those issues. For you in particular I would say to take that class or a basic weapons class long before you run out and buy yourself a gun.

  6. Must be a damn scary thing. My brother in-law is one of those with a peanut allergy, and funny as hell watching my sister badger waitresses about peanuts. That said he did end up at the hospital once because a chef decided that as a "special treat" he'd toss some peanuts into a dish that wasn't supposed to have any Sad that people don't realize how serious this is. As it becomes more common, however, there will be a lot of learning about it. And anyone who sees someone else go into shock never forgets it.
  7. Yes.
  8. freedom is something you assume; then you wait for somebody to try to take it away from you. The degree to which you resist is the degree to which you are free.
  9. I used to bad talk those weaklings who were so stylishly "intolerant" or "sensitive" to everyday stuff like milk or wheat. Then I got to experience my first anaphalictic reaction to something I have developed an alergy to. I don't make fun of people anymore.

  14. I hope this isn't too off topic, but my LMP rocks and makes good money. She went to the Brian Utting school and spoke highly of it. Anyone know anything about the different massage schools and the WA req's to practice?
  15. I hope Blahniks. I respect a woman who will pay that much to be kept in pain. They are beautiful shoes, but I'd rather wear her. Out.
  16. From Wiki: The BMI is meant to broadly categorize populations for purely statistical purposes. As noted, its accuracy in relation to actual levels of body fat is easily distorted by such factors as fitness level, muscle mass, bone structure, gender, and ethnicity. People who are mesomorphic tend to have higher BMI numbers than people who are endomorphic, because they have greater bone mass and greater muscle mass, respectively, than do endomorphic individuals. Similarly, ectomorphic individuals could conceivably receive a reading below the normal range, when in fact their body type makes it healthy for them to be thin. In fact, ectomorphs could obtain healthy readings even when their body fat percentage is higher than is healthy, as their low lean mass will lower the BMI. From Archy: I am a mesomorph. Even when I am in good shape and lifting hard, I can only get down around 22, 23; but my body fat was down to about 12% at that time. So the BMI #s do not necessarily correlate to actual body fat. For your h/w and activity levels, you are probably a bit less than normal women in the Body fat dept. And, you look like a mesomorph, is that how you would catagorize/characterize yourself?
  17. If I had that much leg I'd never wear anything but shoes that scream SEX!!!

  23. Wouldn't that make the median more like $75,000? How much less than $50K are they talking? even at the 14.50 mentioned for 32 hour weeks comes to more than 50K a year.
