  1. It's not really extra mileage anymore josh. The Stehekin road now ends (at least for this summer) @ MP 10.3. This means about 6 miles to BRidge creek, and a few more to Park Creek.
  2. where's the worm flows route?
  3. I just heard on the news that he died at the hospital, or en route.
  4. looks pretty edited to me.
  5. If it's a super long ride, or you need clothes at work, you can do the rotating commute. Drive to work on monday morning, with bike in car, then biek back home. Bike to Work on Tuesday morning, and drive home with bike in car. Repeat. I have a very small '93 nissan Sentra, and I can still fit my road bike in the back seat after taking off the front wheel.
  6. you do know it's a gay porn in disguise, right?
  7. How much less? Good point, that means he DOES care some amount. good thing I posted that article to explain it to him.
  8. Sure can, but I must say that I apologize for being wrong, it's not $80,000, it's now $100,000. http://www.freep.com/money/autonews/tax23_20030523.htm
  9. I could care less what Bush's family did before he was born. Why would you have that position? I think a rational human would realize that the Bush family legacy, in Government, business, investing, and Yale were all crucial to GHW Bush and GW Bush, so why wouldn't you be interested to see how this family empire was built? Also, you WERE interested a minute ago when you asked for a link, now that one exists "you don't care". Here's a story on how family connections likely got GWB into Yale (he was turned down by the University of Texas.. daddy didn't go there) http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/01/20/timep.affirm.action.tm/
  10. Here's the story on Bush's family selling Nazi war bonds while we were at war with Germany. It was published in the new hampshire gazette http://www.rense.com/general42/bshnazi.htm
  11. Martlet, I'm going to try and use logic here with you, so I know i'm tready on thin ice here. Given:Drug Money from Islamic nations goes to terrorist causes. Given: Oil money from Islamic nations go to support terrorist causes. Given: The government has aired adds ( even in the super bowl) saying if you buy dope you support terrorism by creating demand for a product which finances terror. Given: The government will give Sole proprietors and folks with small business Licenses $80,000 tax breaks for buying the "Large" (read: gas guzzling) SUV types, increasing dependence on a foreign commodity which finances terrorism Ergo.... It is an ass-backwards policy.

    Martlet

Martlet, can you just show some good old "compassionate conservatism" and personal and responsibility and repost the definition? From the link all I can see is a moonbat means someone who protests teh WTO.
  13. between his support for in-vitro fertilization (which destroys embryos) and his opposition to fetal stem-cell research (because it destroys embryos). " Hey CBS, how does the in-vitro detroy embryos?

    Martlet

Why does this guy use the term "moonbat".... constantly? Who is he?
  15. Hey Martlet? Do you think that GW bush could pass even half of the security clearance checks that those underneath him must pass to get to their positions in government? Do you think that without the influence and power of his political establishment relatives (who derived some power from selling Nazi war bonds after Pearl Harbor)he would have gotten in to Yale (after being rejected from Texas) or become Gov. or Pres? How is his policy of giving $80,000 tax breaks for buying a huge gass-guzzlin SUVs decreasing terrorism by ending our dependence on foreign oil?
  16. Surprise of the day.... What does JAG stand for anyways?
  17. when did people start using or needing stuff sacks for a rolled-up pad?
  18. I liked it when he said Iraq was a bad country because they "ignored UN concensus, and treated it like an empty debating society."

    Donald Rumsfeld...

Who is Martlet? Did Necromonicon get bored again really quickly? Is there actually another whole person out there who is just that stupid?
  20. The internet has totally changed how "grass-roots" events get organized. This is the 4th PNW bulletin board I've seen this on.
  21. Yeah, i'm coming back for sure. I should be there around the 17th. I'm not sure about the fly fishing though, i'm thinking that the flooding might have had some long-range consequences in that area, but you might know more than I when it comes to that.
  22. SW=SCott and Wendy? This is Blake from the Bakery by the way. If this is Scott, that ski trip you did along the Sawtooths looked great!
  23. I'd think if overall, but lower-body concentrated strength gains are what you are looking for, then stick with deadlifts, squats, lunges.
  24. Exactly, the above quote describes half of yesterday's testimony. It seemed like every person used up half of their time with the obligatory pander "This should in no way reflect badly upon the 99% of troops who are great, and we love, and whose parents and cousins elect me... blah blah blah" Everyone already knew this, and also knew that the prisoner torturing is unacceptable. They could have spent their limited time dealing with the situation, not repeating the same obvious pandering cliches.
  25. the majority of CC.COM sprayers are washingtonians.
