The utterly moronic thing about this being on the ballot is that even if it passes, the "recall the monorail" measure is almost certainly going to be declared illegal and be thrown out later this year. Just putting it on the ballot is going to cost us $850,000.00 (read the Seattle Times today to see why)....and we will get nothing. It is just stupid no matter if you support the monorail or you don't.
The "recall the monorail" people and the judges who refused to make a timely decision should be held accountable for this. If they would just wait till after the legal ruling, if it is declared legal, they could put the measure on the next ballot...but instead they are most likely going to throw away our money for absolutely nothing. And if the judges would have made a decision it either could be on the ballot legal...or it wouldn't be on there at all.
