I always was a huge Star Wars fan growing up. One time when I was in college, I met this cute girl who seemed like she was into me and said she was a big Star Wars fan too. I had never met a female who was a Star Wars fan before, but I wanted to give her a chance. So, I decided to ask her a few questions to see if she was a real fan or not. She did well at first, and it seemed like she might know her stuff. She got nearly every question about the movies and video games right, but she really struggled with questions about the books. And then instead of just admitting that she was a fake fan, she tried to insist that the books weren't even canon any more after Star Wars got bought by Disney, as if that meant anything to me. We got into a huge fight. I wish I could say that this is the end of the story, but she seemed nice so I made the mistake of giving her a second a chance. We talked some more and made up and things seemed to be going well. And then, one day, she texted me a picture of her in a Death Star bra and asked if "I wanted to come over and watch the Return of the Jedi ;P" even though the completed original Death Star isn't even in that movie. I asked her which version of the movie she had, and she said I could pick from the BluRay or the DVD version. I couldn't believe that, any real fan would have the original theatrical cut on VHS, not one of the George Lucas shitshows with all the special effects. Luckily for her, I was able to bring by VCR over and show her the real version of the movie. I tried my best to explain why the original version of the movie was the best one, but every time I paused it to show her what George Lucas had changed, she wasn't even paying attention and was just trying to talk to me about which panties she should wear with her Death Star bra. It took a like four hours to get to the point where Darth Vader and Luke duel each other and the Emperor shoots him with lightning because of how often I had to pause the movie to explain things, and by the it got there, she didn't even want to let me try to watch the best scene. She kept trying to kiss me and get my attention, but I pushed her away. After the movie I ended, I simply asked her if she understood why this movie was so much better than the DVD version (even if it was kind of static-y at the part with Leia in the metal bikini from watching it so many times) and tried to quiz her on the changes to see if she had been paying attention. She couldn't answer any of the questions right and had the nerve to tell me that I was the one being stupid. Eventually I just got fed up with her fake nerd bullshit and left. I can't believe how many girls claim to be real fans but are just doing it because they think it's a funny way to make fun of real nerds like me who have been fans our entire lives. Like they could ever understand what it was like to watch Star Wars as a kid and make it your entire identity for the rest of your life. I haven't really seen her since then, but she still shows up on my facebook feed sometimes with posts about how she's watching the movies, pictures of her in really inaccurate cosplays (probably just trying to get the attention of Chad by dressing slutty), and comments in Star Wars groups where everyone eats up everything she has to say just because she's girl. Like, one time she posted a picture of herself at a party the same night that the first Rogue One preview was on TV, even though ever real fan would have stayed home to watch it. I just can't believe these fake nerd girls. All of my friends on the forums totally agree with me, none of them have ever met a real female Star Wars fan. Every girl who posts is always just a poser who wants to get fucked by a Chad who thinks that her R2-D2 tattoo is quirky and cool, even if it has the jets from the prequels which don't even make sense. Anyway, I'm a real nice guy and I love Star Wars, so if there are any females who are fans and want to chat about it sometime, hit me up.

Whenever I get a package of plain M&Ms, I make it my duty to continue the strength and robustness of the candy as a species. To this end, I hold M&M duels. Taking two candies between my thumb and forefinger, I apply pressure, squeezing them together until one of them cracks and splinters. That is the “loser,” and I eat the inferior one immediately. The winner gets to go another round. I have found that, in general, the brown and red M&Ms are tougher, and the newer blue ones are genetically inferior. I have hypothesized that the blue M&Ms as a race cannot survive long in the intense theater of competition that is the modern candy and snack-food world. Occasionally I will get a mutation, a candy that is misshapen, or pointier, or flatter than the rest. Almost invariably this proves to be a weakness, but on very rare occasions it gives the candy extra strength. In this way, the species continues to adapt to its environment. When I reach the end of the pack, I am left with one M&M, the strongest of the herd. Since it would make no sense to eat this one as well, I pack it neatly in an envelope and send it to M&M Mars, A Division of Mars, Inc., Hackettstown, NJ 17840-1503 U.S.A., along with a 3×5 card reading, “Please use this M&M for breeding purposes.” This week they wrote back to thank me, and sent me a coupon for a free 1/2 pound bag of plain M&Ms. I consider this “grant money.” I have set aside the weekend for a grand tournament. From a field of hundreds, we will discover the True Champion. There can be only one.

You seem to be mistaking Cascadeclimbers.com for somewhere that as soon as you state something you need to back it up with precise dissertation levels of citations and substantiating facts. You don’t. This forum is available for all types of discourse, and just because somebody doesn’t feel the need to back up with sources what they believe as true, doesn’t mean that they should be ignored or goaded by people like you that strive to be superior by posting monumental fact filled responses. It doesn’t interest me. Doesn’t mean I’m wrong, and it doesn’t mean you are. This is a light discussion. If you can’t handle that then I’m sure there are other more fitting rad PNW climbing forums where you can stretch your intellectual muscle and feel better about yourself.

I do identify as an animal based off of a many consistent nonhuman-like experiences that I’ve had since I was little. After observing my behaviours, feelings, and what we deem “shifts” I’ve come to the conclusion personally that I identify as otherkin. What I am saying is that I can’t entirely prove that the experiences that have led me to this conclusion aren’t imagination, so they may as well be as far as anyone else is concerned. I do not need to prove my identity to anyone else in order to identify as such. It’s a personal subjective belief (like I said) about the inner nature of the self. It’s not like being transgender.
