Blackwater has some smart people. They have diversified. Heck, I think they were even offering their services to the Russians with the pirated ship that had weapons on it. They are a private company, so the DoD or State doesn't set their salaries. Of course losing a contract could impact them just like any other company. There are those here that can speak more authoritatively about the company, but I'm pretty sure all I say above is accurate.
