  3. wow steph, your tan is perfect! nice topo.
  4. i'm fairly certain this thread would have been no different had i left it were it was. sometimes when you beat a dead horse you discover new things about how the blows to the dead horse carcass impact the flesh, which might be valuable in the medical world in saving human (or horse) life. this is valuable dead horse beating research.
  5. not having a spine is really killing my back right now
  6. come one..replace your tag line with that! anyway, busy day sprayers! congrats on making it through another sunny day in paradise.
  7. anyway, lisa, i worked doing "high adventure" taking kids from seattle in for week long hikes into the olympics for a summer for the boy scouts. definitely one of the coolest jobs possible. tons to learn from both the kids and from just being out there. you're lucky to have found such a gig.
  8. Yours for rent for 2 bucks a night per person +$5! + parking $. 22 x 2 = $44 per person plus parking and $5 = a bargain! lulz. it is a nice place.
  9. that picture is recent enough, so i'll take it. there are a few more gray hairs, but i'm still awesome!
  10. too bad spray doesn't = reality! then someone might be winning this battle. else wise we have to rely on what is really happening. sucks to be on the losing side of things, eh?
  11. its the spirit of the thing. you're stealing a moment on land that you own.

  13. lol that sounds just a little suspect. 18 year old Elijah Craig. is that Larry Craigs nephew?

  15. one in AZ too.
  16. or colorado? popular name.
  17. is it in california?
  18. The above is an example of a nuanced and well thought out position on bolts. this is way different than the polemic discussions that usually seem to happen here that basically end up being "bolts are bad" accompanied by a picture of a clown VS. people just picking at the scab or trying unsuccessfully to inject some sort of agreeable compromise to the situation. would also agree that there are bigger fish to fry. but then, for some, that is the only fish they seem interested in.
  19. its like a box of chocolates

  21. passion is inversely related to the spacing of the bolts
  22. If you can hike the Bailey Traverse you should be able to get through a couple of washouts! See the pics here: http://www.nps.gov/olym/planyourvisit/north-for-quinault.htm From the national park website as of last month:
  23. [qoute] If you have half a brain, you consider the consequences before "hitting it". If you're a caveman, you see the closely-spaced bolts, you consider their convenience at the expense of the finite rock environment and you whip out your quick-draws and "go for it". If you're contemplative, you walk away or top-rope the route in protest, or you look for the clean route nearby rather than taking the cheap way out. "finite rock"? what about mars? you're not really that much of a thinking man are you? you've already done all the thinking you're going to do...only thing left to do for you is convert everyone to your mindset. do you ever wonder how effective you are as an advocate for your "position"? and how do you toprope a woman with fake breasts?
