  1. I haven't measured them. They are long enough to reach as far as I can (I'm 6' 3") and a bit more, and as short as I could make them without putting undo stress on the eleastic. I can measure when I get home.

  3. I think you should retire the avatar to give all of us a chance to guess the new KKK.

    Spray sucks

The rice in my lunch sucks today. It has been boiled to a paste. Who can't cook rice?
  5. I was tooling around at Baker on Sunday. There isn't quite enough snow to cover the bushes. I don't know what the conditions on the face might be.
  6. The tracker is $220 at REI right now.
  7. I made 3 of these that I don't need. These are $40 each. I know, it seems like a lot. After materials and the cost of shipping the components is covered, you will be paying me about $6 for the time to stitch one of these up. I'm not interested in shipping. I'm terrible about getting to the post office in a timely fashion and I end up feeling guilty about it. I live in Seattle and work in Everett. We can arrange pickup anywhere between the two. The mini carabiners are made of stainless steel. They have a working load limit of 260 lbs. (locking carabiner shown for size, not included) The swivel is rated around 250 lbs WLL. The webbing is 1/2" mil spec. The seams are covered in shrink tubing to protect the stitching and prevent it from getting caught on things.
  8. I found some marine carabiners similar to Choada's. These are rated to a working load limit of 260 lbs. They are made of stainless. The carabiner in the pic is a standard BD locker. The swivel is also rated around 250 lbs WLL. The webbing is 1/2" mil spec. The seams are covered in shrink tubing to protect the stitching and prevent it from getting caught on things.

    Turtles

If you wouldnt' get the child a puppy, certainly don't get them a turtle. They are way less fun.
  11. Anything from Paradise. They keep it plowed. It's possible that White River will be open, but I wouldn't count on it.
  12. I heard they are going to upgrade to stretch XCR next year. I'd wait.
  13. Seattle Outdoor Fabrics has the "waterproof" zippers similar to what Arcteryx uses in stock. Most dry cleaners will do alterations/zipper repair.
  14. If you are doing tele turns it is possible that your toe is hitting the release button.
  15. The approach to the NF of Shuksan si doable. You drive to the Mt. Baker Ski area and hike through a drainage. If there is enough snow, the walk in is cake. If there isn't it's a pretty good bushwhack.
  16. I was on the Thunder Glacier on Sunday. No new snow, just shitty icy skiing. Perfect climbing conditions.
  17. I just put together a Lanyard using these. I found some stainless swivels online for the harness side. Everything is stainless with a Working load limit of 250+ lbs. I will post some photos later tonight.
  18. If this is MC - Dan, I will lend you mine.
  19. that sounds like a euphemism.
  20. Can a mod change Kevbone's title to "The ...est"

    wtf

I only wish "ragingly asstastic" was an option.
  22. Fred Beckey is what we all aspire to one day become.
