If you don't like it you don't have to read it. As far as thread hijacks and hijinks what does it really matter if a thread about the NR Stuart, Dragontail, Liberty Bell, CBR, Prusik, Burgundy Spire, SEWS, etc. etc. gets sprayed on? Is there really any more relevant info to add that can't be found on this site already?

Yeah, Colin has gone into super fast and light mode. I barely recognized him at the slide show. I told him he would probably be even a few ounces lighter if he went completely bald.

Yeah, rock is great. A little more lichen on the first couple pitches than in some areas, but the vast majority of the route is on outstanding bright clean stone.

Yeah Furry Pink Arete is on the west face of Snowpatch. It climbes an arete to the right of the Kraus/McCarthy. Here's the line in yellow. There is a line that climbs the steep wall up to the north summit called North Summit Direct,somewhere near the blue line, and goes at 11+/12-, so a little more technical than the Furry Pink that goes at 10+. Furry Pink is a fun route, one I would recommend.

It is interesting that for how big of a winter we had how bare and dry everything is. I think that the warm dry spring really hammered everything.

I was up there a while back and climbed up over some roof and then onto a steep slab with bolts..kinda between dreamer/safe sex and botany 101, but not all the way into the botany 101 gully thing. not sure what route it was
