Anyone want to get out and climb tomorrow? I know, I know, it's only Vantage, but at least it might be dry....
ph. 206-819-1537 if you want to get out.

It's probably in good condition right now, depending on how much snow falls this week loose snow might be a bit of an issue.
I might also be up there on Sunday morning.
we were in the area last weekend and climbing conditions were stellar. Firm snow and ice. Approach was fairly quick on skis up the Carbon Glacier. Wouldn't have needed snowshoes last weekend but with snow in the forecast for this week snowshoes might be a good idea...or skis, of course.
Anybody going to be heading up to vancouver for this?
I'm going to go. Probably will stay the night in Vancouver Thursday night....party party party, if anyone wants to go.
That rock step to gain the third couloir is spicy when it's bare. We did kindof a little drytooling traverse type thing up in there when we climbed it two years ago.
It would be cool to see that step covered....although for other reasons.
Sky and I skied up to Assblaster Pass on Sunday. Heavy amounts of snow all the way from the Stuart Lake TH. Conditions on the lower trail consisted of variable crusts to deep unconsolided snow making for arduous trail breaking.
The north face of Dragontail is looking sweet as well as the TC's. we skied up to Assmblaster Pass in increasing heavy winds. At and above the pass the wind was blowing so hard it was difficult to not get blown over. Gusts were probably 100+mph and combined with all the blowing snow visibility was very difficult at times. We had hoped to ski off Dragontail but decided just to ski from Asgaard pass.
There is a ton of snow up there. Most of it above the lake is severely wind affected and in areas there are unstable windslabs.
I'm probably going to be heading into the Colchuck Lake area Saturday night, so by Sunday morning sometime there will be a skin track in there...but only probably
