I recently heard a rumor that Dan - ran the entire 26.3 miles of the Wildwood in 28 minutes and 7 seconds. He averaged a remarkable pace of 1 minute and 3.6 seconds per mile. Time was fully verified by a poorly faked GPS map and witnesses who will post here from the same computer as -.
Great job Dan!
After much toil

BTW, what's this dude's din setting? My skis are not always releasing when they should. Maybe he is using Marker bindings?
I actually wrote my message prior to reading your 2nd latest which negated the purpose of my message.
Thanks for telling the story. It's much better to be forthcoming then to just insinuate negative feelings which can let imaginations run wild. :-)
Yeah just wait till September . . .
I found skier's right as well as the Langille Glacier bowls not too bad. For me the worst part was skinning up, I hate skinning undulations.
It was okay on Sunday. Upper elevations were very undulated but the roll into the Eliot wasn't too bad. We need to get Hood Meadows to hurry up and start groomin' it!
I was expecting to see CCers hucking off these kickers:
Skied all the way to T-line tr:
For a more verbose report click here to read TAY TR.
BTW, are skiing TRs suppose to go in the Freishiez forum or in the appropriate geographic forum?
When we skied the SW Chutes on June 20th we actually missed the trail though bushwacking was probably just as fast. Given less snowcoverage now you'd probalby have a much easier time finding the trail. Look for it around 6100'. Next time I ski the SW Chutes when there's a lot of snow I'll probably try to traverse higher.
I'll probably be there again on Sat w/ Silas from TAY. I'll be the gaper in the dark blue Dodge Durango that has a ticket on the windshield from not having a USFS Forest Pass. Dynafits, Miras, GRides, Blue helmet.
I just want to know how Mark Twight manages his suicidal tendencies after getting measly 11th place in the Wasatch Powder Keg rando race last March. In fact it was more like 33rd place as there were 22 euros from the World Cup division in front of him.
