One idea a friend of mine came up with to carry a p&s safely, is to use a mid-sized chalkbag. Most of them are somewhat padded and already have clip-in points and a drawstring.

Carpool options?

Rodchester, I read the post as having to do with Alpental's lease agreement with the USFS. My understanding, though limited, is that the ski area leases the land (or acquires a use permit) in order to operate. I figured that the ski area was going to modify their agreement with the USFS to close off this area in winter. Or, are they no longer willing to provide avalanche or rescue personnel to that area? It's their parking lot, right? Who fucking knows.

It's tension, because sportclimbing isn't...

Is mururoa like roratunga? Or are they both just fun to say? C'mon try it.

I'm thinking of heading up there the weekend after Christmas...anybody interested? No definite goal in mind, yet.

I'm down with all that except the bolt clipping. You forgot buying more guns and shooting stuff.

Oh, yeah. I've been in love with her since the 80's. She is looking good, man.

I'm down, but I two-plank. Are you open to a multi-cultural experience that way? PM me.

Answer: No. He enjoys the benefits of US citizenship, and this includes access to our judicial system. GW is wrong on this one. Does anyone know how the whole "during wartime" deal applies if he is accused of treason? Are US citizens who commit acts of "treason" (applicable only during wartime) tried for treason under a military court or a criminal court?

Will, I've heard a brief amount about this, but not enough to speak on it. Have they charged her with a crime yet? Allegations like these seem to come out and then nothing is done. If they are guilty charge them, if not give it up I say.

by what measure? Percentage of "major purchase" sales are up. My investment banker friend is seeing a lot more movement. Indicators like that. Fewer unemployment claims. You know, the standard stuff.

Rudy, as always, it's like duelling with a midget in 5' of water when you try and argue with me. I was responding to JoshK's assertion regarding the citizens of those countries and their opinions. I think most will agree that private opinions and the geopolitical positions of governments are two slightly different cans of worms. It's better you stick to what you know: climbing really hard, sick shit and making it look easy. Leave the thinking to people who know how. 'MMkay? Roark

The economy is improving, despite the Democrats attempts to hide it. You're full of shit.

Josh, You've got a few problems here. First, it doesn't matter what other countries think of who we elect; we're electing him, they have no input. Second, if you are an American citizen, George W. Bush is "our" leader. Just because you don't like him, doesn't nullify his existence as the President of the United States of America. Third, you need to re-read the Constitution of the United States and give up the "wasn't popularly elected" gambit. When you do re-read the Constitution, you'll see that there is an Electoral College. Fourth, I'll repeat that foreign nationals protesting someone who isn't their national leader, in their own country, is a non-issue. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but if they aren't a citizen of the United States then what weight does that carry? And finally, you claim that "that your [Fairweather's] views are NOT the views shared by most everybody else." Look at how the voting went in 2000; it was pretty split down the middle. Further, last I checked (that was a few weeks ago) Bush had a better than 60% approval rating; so, a good number of people DO support our "conservative" leader. I see what you're trying to say, but I think your basis of thought is a little misguided and based much more on opinion, ideal, and popular liberal rhetoric than actual fact. Best of luck to you in this Holiday Season. Roark

That's because it was Canada. With the exchange rate, you can go to 2/3 of the classes and still get full credit.

Check your e-mail; I'm interested in the Wasatch boards.

A long hiatus and SC is still a fucking idiot...figures.

Exactly, they don't amortize all that IS involved in collecting those fees. Also, they hide some costs under other ledger headings, so it appears as if what is being spent on Fee Demo Collection is less.
-
They are not actually very diligent about reporting the TRUE cost of that collection. There was a report out sometime in the past few months talking about the fuzzy accounting that many districts are doing.

There actually are signs at the beginning portion of the Source Lake Trail that mention the hazard and that avy work may be being performed. They aren't in an excellent "in your face" location, but you see them when you walk in.
