  5. i can't whistle so that just doesn't work. rope tugs-- five is good so it can't be messed up w/some other fiddling w/the rope. just picked up a couple of radios this past winter. i use them to communicate w/my son at the crag. i haven't used them on a long multi-pitch yet but i plan on it. i like the idea of eliminating doubt/confusion whenever possible. i do think it's important to have a back-up, non-verbal way to communicate b/c sometimes radios fail or you might not be able to get hands free to use them.
  6. i'm going w/my strong suit. but really i just want the humping bunny avatar back there's in it for the person who can find that image for me.

  13. cripes...do i have to say it again? you guys make this whole dating thing so frikkin difficult. a) see hot chica, strike up a conversation, suggest a second meeting if she likes you she'll say yes b) see chica, happen to talk/get to know chica b/c you happen to be in the same place for a while. you like chica suggest an additional being in the same place at the same time event. c) repeat a and/or b w/chica until one of you doesn't like the other d) start w/ a and/or b this applies at the crag, at the grocery store, in class, at the bar, etc etc etc.
  14. i think the ratio at the crags is improving for the guys a lot. i took a climbing class from the WSU alpine club in '89 (damn i'm old) there were 20 of us. 2 chicks total ratio 1:9 (not including instructors = 4 guys) we've heard mention of 1:7 here.... a small improvement. but i'd say that number is wrong every time i go to a local crag i see at least one 1 chick for every party of 4 sometimes for than that. that means a much improved ratio of 1:3. now i'm not making any representation that all or even any of these women is hot but you never know. come on guys...it's no so bad out there....unless you're alpine climbing. then you're just so not screwed.
  15. Good news for all! today, i read that the porn industry has started filming again after being shutdown by a recent aids scare. whoooo...what a relief!

  24. These quotes are just priceless. this certainly does nothing to disspell stereotypes of arkansas Ark. Family Marks Birth of 15th Child 2 hours, 20 minutes ago Add Health - AP to My Yahoo! FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Michelle Duggar's family says that the mother is all smiles after delivering her 15th child. Both the baby and mother were doing well, although Michelle was feeling some discomfort because the birth was her second by Caesarean section, said father and former state legislator Jim Bob Duggar's mother, Mary Duggar. "She's a trooper. She's just all smiles," Mary Duggar said in a telephone interview Monday. The baby boy, Jackson Levi Duggar, was born at 10:52 a.m. Sunday. He weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces and is 20 inches long. "She was wanting to do it naturally," Mary Duggar said. But the delivery was by C-section because one of Jackson's shoulders was presenting first. "I call him Jumping Jack because he would go in a circle," she said. Home briefly from the hospital later Monday, Jim Bob, 38, sounded a bit tired but happy. He said his wife and new son were doing fine. He said he leaves the decision up to Michelle on whether to have more children. "I have always left it up to Michelle because she's actually the one that carries them and does all the labor," he said. "But we both love children. Even yesterday, she said she would like to have some more." Michelle, 37, probably will be in Washington Regional Medical Center for three or four days, said her mother-in-law, who is taking care of the 14 other children. Michelle, who home schools her children and is helping to build the family's new home in Tontitown from the ground up, started having her babies when she was 21, four years after she and Jim Bob married. He is a real estate businessman and a former state representative. Their children include two sets of twins, and the parents have stuck to the letter "J" for their names. There is Joshua, 16; Jana and John-David, 14; Jill, 13; Jessa, 11; Jinger, 10; Joseph, 9; Josiah, 7; Joy-Anna, 6; Jeremiah and Jedidiah, 5; Jason, 4; James, 2; and Justin, 1.
