Eventually everyone will be like Baron Harkonen with antigravity suits to float their grotesque, bloated, fat bodies. Kudos to anyone who can come up with a pic of the Baron (alas, I tried and failed).

In the news today, several new sattelites have been discovered orbiting your anus, I mean Uranus. -
I'd bet Roseanna Roseannadanna would have had something to say on this topic.

I suppose you could bivy there. It isn't completely flat, but I suppose it is flat enough. You'd have to melt snow for water, but there are small ponds of meltwater a short walk along a ledge on the SE Face. It only takes 30 minutes from there to the flat slabs below the summit block where you could also bivy. It takes 5 hours from QC TH to Pt. 5779 if you take the valley, or 6 hours if you take the ridge from Curry Gap. I estimate it takes 4-5 hours to climb from Pt. 5779 via the NE Ridge to the Yellow Shoulder. It takes 3-4 hours to get to Blanca Lake via the Columbia Glacier and about 3 hours to hike from the North side to the TH.

Did you graduate from "colledge"? -
I think the important issue is not just whether the banter is obnoxious, but WHERE it is posted. The Spray forum has a very high tolerance level for obnoxiousness. That tolerance falls off somewhat in Climbers forum and then to its very lowest level in Route Reports. Although Trask, Sphinx, and Dru can be obnoxious at times, I have observed that they are (usually) more careful what they do outside of Spray forum.

I have downclimbed it before. It has some fourth class sections and you have to go on snow/ice in places, so bring your crampons. From Pt. 5779 decend to the saddle where the pond is located. Drop down onto the glacier and skirt around a headland (lots of rocks lying on the snow below, so go fast). Once around climb back up rock and snow to another saddle and from there get on the ridge. I think that the Upper Pride ice route is better than the NE Ridge, though.

I'm throwing my can of Bud and you can't stop me. I hope you don't waste any of that precious fluid and rather just throw the can.

Go now. This weekend.

I'd be willing to bet that 95% of sprayers would have to look in a dictionary to know what an "incubus" is.

This is not a debate, erik. This is about incitement to violence, which is illegal. Bicycles are legally entitled to share the road with motor vehicles.

The device doesn't really take direction directly from the brain. They rerouted existing nerves that controlled the arm to the chest where they caused muscles there to contract and be detected by a sensor. Apparently the arm is motorized.

Indeed, the two accounts apear to conflict.

You probably need a block and tackle to retract the lobes.

Aren't there many heifers up in your neck of the woods?

Klenke, you have mountain recognition programs hardwired into your brain. You could identify a mountain upside down and backwards and looking through trees.

You've heard of a jump start. This was a hump start.

I'm just speculating, mind you, but I think the dryer treatment serves to orient the hydrophobic tails of the perflurooctylsulfonate to that they face outwards to better repel water. Static electricity may play a role too. The chemist's perspective.

Go weigh an Irbis titanium screw and then a BD Express 17 cm, which is the closest equivalent. The Ti weighs almost exactly half what the BD weighs. That's why people take them. Yes, they place easily in glacial ice, but they are harder to place in water ice. The small threads are the reason why I place them 90 degrees to the slope, whereas the Express should be tilted at 15 degrees down from the perpendicular. The smaller threads mean also they melt out faster. So they have their place as long as one knows their limitations.

Welcome back ExtremoMtDude. How was the skiing in the Southern Hemisphere? Chasing the snow back north?

So basically what you are saying is we need ethnic cleansing.

If we focus all our attention on gun rights we can lose other rights, for example, civil rights, among them the right to protest and be heard. Did you read about how the Secret Service is being sued by the ACLU because protestors of the Bush Administration have not been allowed to get closer than a half mile of Bush appearances, while Bush supporters are allowed close access.

One more nested quote and I am going to puke.

It seems to me that both parties are for more government. The only difference is that one would like more guns, the other more butter. One would prefer to borrow money for guns, the other would prefer to pay for it as we go along by not cutting taxes.
