I can see this is the start of a 59 page collection of rantings. I did a few routes last year rapped down to clean death blocks and shovel dirt. At the end of the day - out of lazyness of not wanting to walk around, I'd usually climb right out in my muddy tennis shoes and gradually sort of unintentionally wired the moves on a single line toprope. When I showed up in my climbing shoes, on the clean routes, a couple of times belayers, when following the route, noted that they wouldn't want that runnout on lead. With that in my mind, these routes are single pitch and easily toproped, but if somebody wants to toss some bolts in to lead it whats the big deal, put them in. If you are going to do it, don't put in some weak-assed spinners or plated steel. Do it right or go home. -so- to your question.. My thoughts on it is do your route ground up, and people should respect that and the pro. Otherwis you shouldn't get all pissy if someone else doesn't want to work the multiple pitches on TR - like the FA party, and puts in some bolts because THEY feel it's unsafe and wants to ground up it. My opinion only. But I'm pretty flexible on all this kind of balony. My views have softened over time as well. I did a FA ground up last year that I would probably now do first on TR. Getting some other viewpoints on THIS SPECIC ROUTE by others who have populated that specific area for years should get priority over a bunch of wankers like myself who may not have ever climbed at the area.

Victorian times ended over 100 years ago. What? Lil kids gotta starve? It's insane. Just feed the little ones, like we got fed, like out parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like their parents got fed, like even their parents got fed, back to Adam and Eve and they were naked to start anyway - and don't worry about it. My thoughts only. But everyone else is wrong or F*ed up big if they believe breast feeding is wrong. Best thing for a lil one.

All Counting Crows stuff is good. Long December sold the billion copies of course. BTW, please refrain from using this sentence used as an active verb: "I got Kevboned in the fartbox".

Good man. You can rest assured that your unselfishness, and that's what it is, is making the world a better place. Long afer it's been forgotten that you did the North Ridge of Stewart - or whatever climb you can think of up to the Everest North Face, your family will remember and revere you for that commitment. There is nothing more important than raising a family and commiting to being responsible IF YOU HAVE CHOSEN that path. I see dudes acting like sperm donors and moving on and it's bullshit. Shawn Kemp as a blatant example. Wrap it or don't, but if you chose NOT too, then act responsibly and commit to the kids who need you there for them. What works for one person might not work for another though, it's truely a your results may vary scenario.

Something is seriously wrong with the story that a high school kid can't outrun a rent a cop with taser. Come on, the kid must have been playing "Hit the Duck" running back and forth and seeing how long it would take the cop to hit him. Probably had piercings and tattos and thought this would look good on a resume to be a Barista.

Keeping the stoke alive fer sure! Thanks for sharing Bryan! -
You obviously haven't seen your new "Yellow Page" bill in the mail yet? My last boss paid that for about 4-5 years till one time he asked for a phone book..... Turns out that there are many phone book companies, these guys have the little fingers doing the walking (it's not Qwest), he for sure had an ad, but they don't distribute that phonebook like Verizon and Qwest as it turned out, you have to ask for a copy. But they reliably will send you something that looks like a bill in the mail.

Thanks Minx, bet your a great partner. Nah, Kev has a great wife, you all would like her a lot. Like all things, you can't sum up your relationship on a internet post in 30 words. None of us. BTW, my wife insisted that I stop watching TV and go out into the wind and cold for a dark late night walk last night. I reluctantly agreed, made the boy come along too. The walk turned into a freezing run/dog walk with a couple of pullups at the park and we finished by running home laughing all the way. Compromise and compatibility is a good thing.

Dude, you might need to work on the negotiating tactics. Remember that there are other women out there and available. Staying with one woman is a choice that a guy can make....or not. Reminding a SO that you have choice reinforces the equality that should be present in a relationship IMO. I've been hit on by other women in view of my wife, and it makes the relationship better cause it reinforces this fact. I did get some grief for being in Red Rocks over the Thanksgiving holidays and telling her after the plane tickets were bought though.......*cough* cough*. Rightfully so since she was planning on a big family dinner at our house. I heard it was good. (Ujahns day before thanksgiving signature pic follows:-)

Minx, that came through on paper sounding like a loud screechy harpy bitch. Might have been my misinterpretation of your words however, but right now I'm feeling some symapthy for your Signifigant Other here.

Gent: ....is a gentleman of the first order. That is inexpensive and underpriced for the quality of companionship alone you'll be getting. -

Visions of some skinny assed black guy in Compton looking at the return address and driving up to my house and popping a hole in my head....LOL Hey Stewart, what's your address? I need it for a package....yeah thats it....
-
Oh shit: JB died? Damnit all, they took the wrong singer. Hey, is it me, or does his nose look a little off?
-
I can help ya fill up that package Pink. Sounds like Stewart needs a full bag. Bill Supersition is an awesome climb with good holds, why they didn't just mosey down a bit and leave you alone is confusing. Maybe it's like Bachar back when, he had a free-solo circuit of like 30-50 climbs, if you happened to be on one, he was flowing, and it was easier for you to step aside than him to stop and wait.

$10? ? Coooommmmmooooonnnnnon! Damit - that's as low as I'll go so work with me here. Glad the cop got fired too in that instance. But, I can guarantee you I'll be OK with it.
-
"What would I do"? "What would I do"? Yeah, I'd take my top off and do jumping jacks for any of you crazy bitches for 1/2 that amount. Bottoms off too. Like maybe as low as $200. .......... .......... Ok, I'd do it for $50 but I want a happy finish.

I've sort of gotten out here or there. I have a 16 year old who's on the snowboard team. I got a Meadows season pass so we can hang together and he takes me for runs on the snow much like a labrador going after a stick or a ball. You know: gettheball gettheball gettheball gettheball gettheball gettheball gettheball gettheball. It goes like that till I'm panting, weak kneed and begging to stop. Except Sat. it was Ujahn doing it and my boy was up with a buddy. Then we quit early and Ujahn wanted to go climbing, so we head to Beacon, see the wind (and Jim and JH's cars and one other in the lot), figured that Skamania Lodge would be warmer cause they have a roaring fire and it didn't hurt that they have beer and food and we were hungry. Made the mistake of drinking the beer. Headed back and couldn't get out of the warm car in the parking lot. Great listening to the loud wind howling noises outside the vehical though. Met a couple of other CC.comers elsewhere and said hi to them too. We justified not climbing by saying we weren't going to climb cause of the weather (but I know you guys would be sending). Actually I think it was cause I was exausted. I figured that out when I went home at 2pm, took a bath, sat in front of the TV and was fast asleep in 2 min.....for 2 hours. Woke up with a dog on my lap that evidently despite the fact that it had been barking on and off the whole time (according to family members), I hadn't heard it at all. Damn that Ujahn can ski good. Unbeliveably fast too. So don't bet him any money and race him. Anywhooo: Sunday was race day and I had to be there for that. So I've been going up the mountain in my free time. Springtime is typically Meadows - then Pete's. We almost stopped at Pete's and there was ZERO wind Saturday: Zero. Except for a foot and a half of snow on the deck and a few patches of ice still on the rock, it would have been the best place to be once the sun hit it at @ 1pm. It really was a great weekend. Good to see you guys getting some rock in despite the high winds and cold.

ditto on the way cool part. Nice pics too!

Symapthies to all in need: but Holy mother of Royal Robbins Oly, what sweet warm dry blissful granite line is that? Nevermind, it looked like city park and I just went to that section and found your TR. Hot damn!

MJs efforts to keep himself in the limelight is so repugnant. Who really cares?
