Hovever: you bringing it up only reminds the haters of this route (and there are some who are not posting this time) that they forgot to chop it last time. The best info out there is alpinedaves web site and I think you have to fill in the knowledge gaps yourself and make it an adventure. I personally would hate to see it "chopped", and was probably heading up there hoping to do it with Nolse later this summer if he's still up for it. Technically Cuba. They should just left them in Afganastan and let them deal with them. They would be shot by now. Acutally, the Northern Alliance took a bunch of captured Taliban prisoners off of US hands and put them in containers to be moved to a prison camp. They sat in the hot sun for a long time. When the trucks with the containers finally arrived at the prison, all of the prisoners were dead. It was reportedly not an insignifigant number nor did it appear to be an unintentional thing either.
