Actually Miss M, I do agree with what you say....our overuse of raw materials for non-important things is a huge issue for our society with a bill we have yet to start paying, however, globalism is a force which will rickroll us as well. Good times for sure between the beer and seeing lots of bros!!! John and Marcus looked to be having a great time as they worked their asses off. Graham from Cilogear was working the silent auction table and looks to be doing an annual weird shaving thing that coincides with the fest. Last year he shaved half his beard, this year it was Tiger Stripes in it.....hopefully someone with enough sense to bring a camera will put some pics on here and include the results and some competitor shots. Our President has handled himself with dignity and decorum through a difficult primary and later strident and ignorant right wing harpy attacks. It's been a great thing to watch his restraint and skill in response to those. Starting from when Hillary started the underhanded personal attacks in the primary and Barak refused to buy in. He advised his workers to not get personal and to resist attacking personalities. He even fired a campaign worker who, despite having read the "don't be a dick message", decided on his own to send out an underhanded return nastygram. The man has been faithful to his words in that sense, and we are all the better for it. Ignoring people like Beck, Savage and the others, who start off with false suppositions and end with an angry personal tirade or attack: would be the best thing we can do as citizens if we are tired of that kind of bullshit. Ignore them. When we see a Prick like Pete Wilson act out like a 3 year old, write your congressmen and senators. Pick a position YOU feel strong about, and write your them as well. Ignore the idiots who are like Dogs barking at the caravan in the desert.... the caravan continues.

Portland Rock Gym September 26th 2009 ! Shit, I have a climb scheduled. If things go well I may pop in later on, curl up next to the keg and take a nap on the floor like last year during the slide show. It too often goes without saying that you guys kick ass for putting this on: that slide show last year kicked ass too even if the sound sucked (old peoples hearing issues probably).
