The republicans would never agree to anything in law that would increase voter turnout. They know damn well that the more lower income and middle income people (that don't normally tend to vote) vote, they will lose more and more elections.

Yes, and as soon as two thing happen, the democrats will return to power: 1.)The figure out how to campaign against stop-at-noghting ugly campaining republicans 2.)The public reaizes the country is continuing it's downhill slide, and no amount of talk about 9/11 or terrorism matters any more. It's a cycle...one side fucks it up, then it goes to the other, so on and so forth... This election proves that scare tactics do work.

In an election like this, it's a wasted vote. Believe what you want, but that is certainly my opinion.

I'm surprised some of the dems on this site arent more supportive of this idea. It would overwhelmingly help the democratic party. Who is more likely to have the time to vote, a blue-collar factory worker on a strict hourly schedule who uses public transportation or a wealthier guy who drives his benz to work and can duck out for 2 hours without notice? Get rid of columbus day and make nov 2 a holiday instead.

Just leave it for a while to see... I love it here, but you can't beat WA...oceans, lakes, islands, mountains, cool cities and everything else. This is overall the best state in the union and anybody that says othrtwise is dumb.

Out of curiosity, why would removing somebody's signs from the median be illegal? Technically, it's just litter if its on public land its just as much my right to remove them as it is somebody else's right to place them there.
