I think most will agree that private opinions and the geopolitical positions of governments are two slightly different cans of worms. Erri De Luca was 53 when he did a chalkless ascent of La Teoria dell'8a, 8b+, at Sperlonga. Letizia "Super-Titta" Colombo has done her first two 8a's aged 45 and the story doesn't get worse by the fact that she hadn't done 7a before she turned 40. Can there be any other sport where you can be at your top level for up to 40 years!? There must be senior citizens who still do 8a?

Hey bungle... Dave Page John Ramuta Trust me on this...I got 1 relatively ok job and two really shitty jobs from Page (and he was a grumpy asshole to boot, no pun intended) and probably 10 or so absolutely incredible resoles from Ramuta...Your money is better spent going to him instead of Page...He's pleasant, does an awesome job and is smoking fast!!! Decent price too...
