jdog...you are a punkassbitch w/ no clown to punch...so stfu Personally, have ridden in a car and having to listen to the intense tirade spewing out of your piehole at the slightest slowdown in traffic YOU would be freaking out at the prospect of having to pass 30 or so bunched hikers on a trail... My guess, if he had to post a warning that there will be a lot of people headed out on the trail at the same time. We can extrapolate this situation to the next warning of: "Hey, the mounties are going to be doing our annual learn to climb weekend at crag xyz, so go somewhere else..." Oh, and for you, Mr. Dog a double-

  9. and pointing and laughing w/ the rest of your buddies prolly isn't a good idea either! Its amazing how much abuse you can flip the way of your buds the would land you on the couch for a month if the target was your wife!!!
  10. False advertising; stay at Indian Creek or come up to Washington so we can climb in Squamish. why don't you just come up to squamish so we can climb in squamish? i'll be there by may ... Surely, I will, but you gotta pass through Washington to get there. And there's some decent climbing to be done here. See you in May. 'where? Tis no limestone and nekkid chicks on the beach in front of the crystal blue med 'round here the last time i looked!
  11. but the comment "learn how to walk, dammit!" prolly didn't help matters much!
  12. been stuffing my face sitting on my ass, swearing at my situation... Prolly a good 12-15 pounds to heavy right now...
  13. only cuz i weigh 4 metric tonnes right now!
  14. but they always balance each other out!
  15. and sometimes they get torqued at each other...
  16. i use a top loader...but i "braid" the rope up and then throw it in a fishnet bag and wash it in that...i don't think it really matters...the braiding keeps the rope from getting a ton of twists in it, and the bag prevents it from getting wrapped around the spindle...
  17. honestly, it just really doesn't matter which knot you use...knot failure is extremely rare and is (i'm throwing a stat out there, but i don't really know) almost always due to a crappily tied knot... Use what you feel comfortable w/ and tie it right and move on...sheesh...
  18. Engineer's joke: every couple has its moment!
  19. does finger pump factor in?

  21. I think catturd meant to say moment...they are measured in the same units...forceXdistance
  22. You need to surf out left to a mono...do a drop knee w/ your foot hooked behind the clipping jug at the first bolt (opposite of the direction that you are drop kneeing right now...gotta let go of that jug sometime )...from there it is a casual reach to the glued flake and you are set up to gaston that hold...from there, three tweaks on crimps lands you at the second bolt and big ass jugs...that is the first sequence...maybe v6? v5? That is the sequence most folks taller than i use. I personally grab the hold in just as you did in the second to the last photo and then surge straight into the gaston...you screw around w/ a match and you will never finish the route...saps too much energy for the toss over the roof... Did you get to the second bolt?
