"they'll be good on a couple of weeks".... ohhh man... those in the know will find this statement hillarious... i was saying this aloud all weekend to my partner as we basked in the glory of brilliant, golden larches lit with warm sun, set to an amazing bludome cut by a serrated white granite ridges, and a club of towering spires... all the while laughing and relaxing at the "beach" after a fine discovery on 1300' of rockclimbing bliss ... but seriously, you probly wanna wait like a week or two... uh huh, yeah then it'll be sweet!.. sweet I LOVE LARCHES!!! my favorite trees ...and so soft

that show was jammin.....the most high-energy, worldbeat infused, non-stop get-down, downtempo house grooves! out of control.

i like linking pitches to link natural features, and challenge myself by managing drag, proper route finding, and simply not having to stop climbing. recently did a new route with three friends and we all seemed to luck out, and find good stances or ledges at right around 60m... when youre out there in unknown terrain, i think i'm scoping features to make the ascent possible, and guessing how far it may be... adventure. one pitch( the last) outa 5 was inconvienenty stretched out as i passed a huge ledge to try and make the lower angled treed terrain above( easy, comfy natural belays)... i had to stop at a shitty stance @ 60m, bring the 2 of them up simul, to the big ledge i passed,where they put in a belay with the gear cleaned, put me back on, and i was able to cruize up to directly beneath the summit block with a perfect natural belay. we then boulderd on up...done. sometimes it works out, other times if you know the route and remeber stopping short when you could have continued stretched the rope and found as good or better belay i like to do it. also if i can put as much rope out as possible by linking to reduce fall factors on gear at cruxy bits, i'll take the pump factor over the fall factor most times, makes me feel safer. i think theres definatly shortcomings with linking stuff, as mentioned prior, but its fun when it works out and you cover alot of ground effeciently, quickness really only means more climbing in the day, or being able to climb a bit then do other things with your day... reducing changeovers sves time, but then again they can be good too

yeah its fun! how hard is it supposed to be..? the orig. ver. is fun too. a good outing up there would be lovin arms and heavensgate...no..? upeer wall freeclimbing

whats bad style is being narrow minded, and relying on other peoples opinions to guide your own experience. advice is one thing, but know the source, and don't emulate others, rely on YOURSELF, and do what feels best to YOU. these are charecters on this site, however experienced they sound, or all knowing they come across as take it all with a grain of salt. by the way, the flip flops were used on the approach to the lake...then tennies to the base, mythos on route,and tennies again for skiing down the perfectly timed soft sno to the lake. this style or lack thereof should mean nothing to anyone else but me and my partner on that givin day. partnership- you know trust in someone elses judgment based on experience together... i had been on the route before with ropes and belays and all that good stuff, i had a blast and imagined it'd be casual without all the stuff, we carried all the necessities( for us) to feel good, including wearing harnessses on the route in case we wanted to pitch anything out. skuzzy was going a vue and thought it would be fun to start soloing and see how it felt with our back-up in place... we had ablast! next time the stuff can stay in the car. but late in the season i'd be tempted to carry along somethin for the hard sno/ ice that i know is there... but call my style whatever you want...i really could give a shit
