i'll usually try and find some sort of way up thru the house first, like out a window and mantel over on to the roof, i'll usually leave my cleaning supplies either back at the window, or get my dangle on. if theres no feasible way thru the house, i'll look for natural features to possibly "traverse" or transfer on over to the roof...now i'm not really suggesting this approach for the faint hearted. the various branch bending, gap sending, tightrope walking, schenanigans are best left to the pros then the obvious...just send. ground-up. and leave the sex-mats in the kitchen, where they belong. if you just suck, then grab a ladder, get up to the top, and just work youre way down... i dunno, hose, uhh...pressure washer...fuggin heavy duty brush. i guess just clean it based on what youre lookin at at that time. hope this helps

cool folks thanx for the feedback...i thinkin combatant col/sunny knob,to focus on mostly rock routes on combatant, teidemann, asperity, serra towers...etc. i'm thinking around the end of july, early august, for 2-4 weeks, repeating classics/ scoping potential. have a couple folks really interested, and will be climbing as soon as my winter job ends around here tons...i thought it'd be cool to meet up with other folks who will be around and do some routes here prior to flying out.-bp

eastlake east is the road that borders rei to the east between i-5 and rei... Lo-Fi is north of rei, not too far theres a place called the lobo saloon... the door to Lo-Fi is very discreet and just south of the entrance to lobo...hopefully this makes sense or you can pick up Stranger, or go to lofi seattle.com or some shit. hope you can make it! good times -bp
-
cool ken...i'll call you when i gets into town, off at 4:00, hopefully in town before 7:00, you should bring yer dad -bp
-
warning: this has zero to do with climbing... one dimensional veiwers please look away!!! for those interested therrs some good shit goin down the next couple of nites at the Lo-Fi on eastlake east... one of the city cooler music venues. tonite: an evening of grooves layed down like ya ain't seen before, horns, keys, dj, samples, live drums, ill jams... plus they gots aranciata -need i say more. friday nite: Skerik joins the joe doria trio...if you like crazy fusion type jazz this quartet will kill... arguably seattle best sax and hammond players with drums and guitar...better to come and see then for me to try and hype it more. thats all... hope to see those in the know, and if youre the type who likes to step out of yer box once in a while... this would be an interesting, at the very least experience. lemme know if you need more info...and if you show up look for tall, stoked dood with beanie, and big smile. -bp

i'm comin down from the mountain(which was beautiful today), to try and pull some plastic, eat some thai food, and drink some booze while listening to music. this uber-proj could go solo, but i'm looking for a hardcore partner for this big enchainment... ...must be able to stand around in a cloud of chalk, occasionally making ridiculous noises on a route way over yer head, stand in long lines outside cramped thai joint, and finally slam many rounds while dodging flying limbs of karate b-boys, in a trendy seattle club...while being lit the whole time-sounds pretty epic huh? i'm thinking gradeVI for sure, and maybe gonna make shirts afterwards to fund future expeditions -bp
