    What's up?

    speak for yourself punk
  2. With today's modern tele gear you can crank as hard as you would on AT gear. That is because they are essentially the same gear. You can crank some mean parallel turns in T-1's and active bindings. And there isn't anything wrong with that. Just ski with what you want, but don't play the old "rando can't tele" card. It's so tired.

    Oh. God. No.

mine appears to be a fraternity photo album of some kind.
  4. Good one! Witty and original. By the way, it's Randonee. P.S. It often doesn't take long at all for a solid AT'r to pick up telemark. It can be an adjustment to get used to the heavier gear and resistance at the hinge when breaking deep trail though.
  5. Timberline's upper lift is effectively closed all winter. A lift tower was blown over at one point, and they quit trying to open it in winter, it's not cost-effective at all. Even the Magic Mile is on standby or outright closed much of the winter.
  6. Well? WELL??? Where is the requisite Atlas Vinylove lovefest post?

  10. Some of the finest Smith classics were sampled this weekend...
  11. *all the above is void if you own a viper or similar and know how to use it of course
  12. I can think of no stretch in Oregon from Smith where 90+ is reasonable. I also think hwy 26 from Terrebonne to Govy is one of the most dangerous stretches of hwy on Sunday. Everyone wants to get home, there is truck traffic on hills and passing spots are few, so everyone is taking risks. There are more than a few accidents in that area, including a recent gas tanker vs. car head-on that set the whole road on fire for a few hours with accompanying fireball. I do a lot of speeding in the 75mph range, but I also know what my vehicle is capable of.
  13. DFA is everywhere and nowhere. But if it is weekday evening he is at the PRG
  14. If it was 98 mph you should be prepared by bringing your checkbook.
  15. They probably are. It is very likely the mission would be refused.
  16. I saw "da crew" on Koala so I can attest that they were actually climbing rock. Good to see you guys.

Probably he was just distracted by the heavy breathing in his earpiece from Darth Cheney.
  22. Whatever you get, be sure you are willing to trash it, because you will.

    Wired Debates

I wouldn't be surprised by this, but if he is accused of this and it is not true, it makes the opposition look a little desperate, in my opinion. There needs to be some fairly solid proof. How can he have an earpiece w/o someone noticing? Perhaps this is why they were so specific about camera angles.
  24. There was a lot of blank, deer-in-headlights staring and silence, for sure.
