there's climbable ice in OREGON already! just need to get up to the shoulder of cooper spur, or I bet that beast to the left of the coe is ready for some intrepid sole after a dip in the freezing level.
Hard cider, wood stoves, sleepy towns in the early morning on the way to skiing, warm food after a long day skiing, snow piling up on fenceposts even SMITH is cool in the winter with snow on the ground!
It ain't just about the skiing rumr, it's an exciting change in the seasons! Celebrate it, embrace it. I dig the rain in town, and the new blanket of snow over everything in the mountains. Even the leaves clogging the storm grating tell me it's time to enjoy the cool things fall and winter bring to this area.
Back to the subject at hand...
This would make a great Halloween costume, going as the personification of the Death Star. I didn't even see that ice axe in there!
I watch the visible sat image, pushing the jetstream up out of California with my hands, like I used to try to will a freethrow into the net in a close blazers game when I was little.
Yep, I am a total zombie at work, just sitting there watching the telemetry. I'm actually psyched every hour when the data is updated
My coworkers must think I'm going off the deep end. And they'd be right.
In the interest of increasing general misery, in middle school I put an open carton of chocolate milk in an empty locker and threw a combo lock on the locker. Week 3 was a rough one...
The same trick can be done by shredding an apple into the grating on the locker. The fly population is a sight to behold!
Ah, youth!
