I actualy could do smith on the 10th maybe. and I will be there on the 17th with the kids might consider index on march 27th to coinside with my trip to see John Long or even exit 38, or 32.... I don't care where I climb that weekend.

distle is an awsome climber. He can definalty hold his own on the sharp end of the rope as well as bouldering. He is a great kid and fun to be with, unasuming and NOT AN ASS wich I can't say for a cupple of the guys that are giving luke a hard time. He sounds confused in his post, but in person he has never said anything about my inability to climb as hard as he does. Luke is always up for a climbing adventure and is a good sport. I hope he comes out tho the kids rope up, both my boys love to boulder and I bet Luke could help them alot

you mean the ones that changed avatars and suddenly became apolitical? in this case you are wrong. you may think that some of the guys are still here, but they arn't and although you may not miss them I do. apart from trask i am not sure who you are talking about. even though trask may be a personable guy once you've met him, you are right that i don't miss the constant raunchy atmosphere that he brought to the site. if the same few people did not keep bringing him up, he'd be a very distant memory by now. it's unfortunate to have to say this but, overall, see it as addition by substraction. I was actualy more refering to capt. caveman and sisu. trask as well. I mis mike adom and a few others too. I supose the cc.com you want is more important than the one I would want. majority rules and all.the thing is with out decenting oppinions it turns into a circle jerk. if everyone agres there is no debate or discussion. surely you must be joking, have you seen how many people visit the site these days? yesterday at some point there were ~110 people between lurkers and members logged in. this site has never been more popular. so what does it mean? by using your same lame logic, it'd mean that people are visiting more than before, now that most bush-apologists have been shut up by their own untenable positions? there may be more peeps here but thery are not good ol' boys. I am not in any way joking at all. If there is a climber that I IDOLIZE ADMIRE WOULD BE A GROUPY FOR it would and is hands DOWN JOHN LONG. he is atracktive intelligent, humerus, and he has climbed and done everything. I would truely be hounerd if he would sign my belly although I would probably not be able to get the request out of my mouth standing in front of him. I am trying to work out a plan to be there and if I can I will be.

Luke, I want to point out that there are good climbers that love to climb that will never climb 5.13. I am one of those climbers. to me climbing is fun, and I want it to stay that way. I am sorry that people were fucking with you. but don't take that out on the weak climbers, take it out on the ass holes

According to the Smith-hardman authored guidebook (I think Chris Jones wrote it, if I remember correctly), Limpdick is 11b and Satisfaction is 12a. I've led limpdick and almost toproped Satisfaction, so maybe you're right. limp dick is a very short .10b at best. I have toproped it clean.,there is no way in hell it is an .11

I know its about leading, but I was just wondering what people thought to some one following on a trad line. since we're on the subject and all, it kinda follows in the same lines as weather you think its trad weather its preplaced or not. when you come back from a trip, and your talkin bout the trad routs you and your partner sent over the weekend, do you say well I climb some trad lines this weekend but my partner just followed, so he/she didn't really climb any "trad" lines this weekend. That would just seem kinda.... well stupid, to me anyways... it only counts as climbing if you are with a partner of equal skill and you swing leads... if it is anything else it is ropegunning for some pussie. edit: I don't care for leading. I prefer to climb witha ropegun and when I set up a climbing apointment I make that abundently clear. If I want to work on my meager leads I say I want to climb 5.7 if I want to french freee I can sporto 5.10a (or follow trad and fall).... But I know my limits, I know what I am capable of and I am straight about it. climbing with someone new is about comunicating about your goals. I can understand why people want a clear definition. comunication is challenging unless we have agreed upon definitions of certin words and concepts.
