  1. Because I'm not your wife.
  2. Wake up Walter Mitty, you're married.
  3. Shouldn't you guys be posting in the new Der Insider's Circle Jerk forum?
  4. rghit on borhetr! BTW: It showed up when I clicked the "show all user's posts" button that shows up on a user's profile (accessible to all). It is a distinct possiblity that you posted it in one forum, and someone moved it to Spray where you may not have looked. The search function on this board is notoriously obtuse, which wouldn't have helped you any.
  5. My carpenters are going to be crushed, that has been the standard job site radio station for a long time. They're already muttering about ipods and such. The local indie, KAOS, does too much poorly produced talking head blather during the work day.
  6. I've got no problems with banning smoking in bars and bowling alleys, my hesitation is that 25' from a door or window rule. I think that the Stranger's op-ed piece about how it will be used as a harrasment tool for only particular establishments is likely right on the money. Wanna bet that smoking too close to the door of some hip hop club is more likely to be enforced (with potential liquor license loss) than some establishment steak house/bar? Seattle cops already do too much selective enforcement, they didn't need to be handed another bludgeon.
  7. Application for Spray Mod status duly noted.

    Folded?

Ssshh, it's more fun when he doesn't get it.
  9. Yah, I can think of a few reasons #3 Don't use email on your queries, I have no idea where they go, but most likely wind up in a spam filled box tended by one of the Admin's who don't have much time for that, being overwhelmed by folks who can't do things like remember passwords. Instead, send a PM to a moderator of whatever particular forum you've got questions about. Don't do it too much, or funny things may happen to you. #2 It wasn't funny, it was boring. It's amazing how often the besotted authors of these sorts of things get the overall effect confused. Take Olyclimber for example. Of course, if boring or inane were the turnstile, this place would be much much quieter. Take this post for example. #1 It wasn't deleted at all, you just couldn't find it. Perhaps it got moved from one forum to another. One approach is to look in Spray for it, the low point where things often come to rest. Of course, a more advanced approach is to pitch a public hissy fit about cocksucking censoring moderators who (didn't) delete your post and how you'll never come back, you quit this board full of festering milksops. Then come back in a couple weeks.
  10. Doubt it, that route has been mentioned before, but it just doesn't have the cachet to become a line-up. As on any of those Dragontail routes, I wouldn't really want to have a party above me.
  11. No shit, I sure picked the wrong one out of that lineup.
  12. Hey, and also in the news, look which CC.com personality has a new business venture!
  13. It involves some ledgy wandering on solid rock, it's been a long time since I've been on it, so I don't recall just how much is 5th, I think it's a number of bits scattered all along the route. I do remember a tidy little chimney about halfway up to the fin. There's nothing as individually stellar as say the finger crack on Serpentine, but nothing as ho-hum as the long choss slog higher on that route. It's actually a perfect sleeper, moderate, solid, accessible, enjoyable, and not in fashion. Oh, and long enough that you'll know you've been out for a day.
  14. Speaking of Enumclaw, what exactly is it you're doing with that horse in your avatar pic?
  15. heh, made you look.
  16. The 1971 Gerber-Sink route on N. Face Dragontail is really fun, and you have a number of finishes to choose from. I'm thinking the Backbone Fin completion will be the way I go next time. Also on Dragontail, the NE Buttress doesn't see much attention. Be forewarned that much of the information in the guidebook is flat out wrong. Good adventure to be had with likely no one else on that side of the peak. East Buttress on Thunder Peak is good, and probably hasn't seen an ascent since Lowell Skoog did the FA. I did the lower portion a couple years before that, but we bailed after the second segment, fearing choss above. Faint hearts n'er win the prize, and Lowell assured me the upper part was just fine. Decent climbing, good rock, remote location. Guidebook is useless, but I recollect a decent account in the AAJ. There's also Stellar Eclipse on the Whine Spire on Silver Star, still awaiting a second ascent lo these last 14 years.
  17. Oooh, they better be careful or Lowe will sue them for stealing the design.

  19. Is that a geologist's geology book, or a pop-geology book like McPhee's Basin and Range?
  20. What, does no one else recognize Herman Buhl? He was way ahead of his time. I must confess though, I don't know what he has to do with bicycles.

    wank bank entry

is this someone you know, or are you stalking celebrities again? By "wank bank" do you mean the woman you most often think of when you jerk off? I could be wrong, but I think most women might find that to be a classic case of TMI. Flowers might be more appreciated.
  22. You can smoke hash, and you can smoke beef, but you can't smoke corned beef hash.
  23. Oh, I don't disagree with the brawl part Jay, I agree that arguing over substance and record is a good thing. I was just poking at your Onion (I'm guessing at your unattributed source) story that you quoted.
