  1. Quote: "AP regional photo editor Tom Stathis said he took extensive steps to confirm the one-eyed cat was not a hoax. Stathis had Allen ship him the memory card that was in her camera. On the card were a number of pictures — including holiday snapshots, and four pictures of a one-eyed kitten. The kitten pictures showed the animal from different perspectives. Fabricating those images in sequence and in the camera's original picture format, from the varying perspectives, would have been virtually impossible, Stathis said." It doesn't sound too impossible. I would believe it if it was recorded on fine-grain 35 mm film, or if vets actually looked at the body.
  2. They are out and about.
  3. WWFSMD? http://www.venganza.org/
  4. I was at a New Year's party a few years ago, and a bunch of us (guys and girls) got naked in the hot tub outside. Since originally the girls were getting naked, this one girl insisted that guys get naked too. I complied, but I noticed that she kind of disappeared into the house and never got naked herself.
  5. I think it's both genetic and cultural. Both men and women (yes, even women) are stimulated visually, but it's naturally stronger for men and also more culturally accepted. So I don't think there is a black and white answer one way or another. Straight guys are naturally wired to be offended at the site of a naked guy, which might also explain why there are less instances of male nudity (a guy walks around naked: "dude, put some clothes on!"). On the otherhand, American men tend to be more sensitive to being accused of being gay. I don't think European men care as much so male nudity in a movie is not as taboo. So again, a combination of both genetics and culture. The U.S. has stronger nudity laws than some other places (cultural), but it applies to both men and women.
  6. That is really cool to know. Easy and quick. Here's another cool trick. If you want to hide your email address from evil spammers and their email-harvesting robots, but still make the email address visible and clickable to real people on your web page, you can combine entity replacement and Javascript: <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> A = "MyEmailAddress"; B = "Yahoo.com"; document.write('<a href=\"mailto:' + A + '@' + B + '\">'); document.write(A + '@' + B + '</a>'); </SCRIPT> Produces: MyEmailAddress@Yahoo.com It adds too much computational time to spambots, and they would be collecting email addresses from people who are too smart to buy into their schemes anyways. Spammers need to collect thousands of email addresses to make a few sales, so they can't waste their time with veterans of the Internet.
  7. nobody wants to see vulgar snow sculptures. nice pic!
  8. This one is not cheesy. I swear! Even the most badass web surfer will be impressed. http://www.grand-illusions.com/angryandsmiles.htm It really should be called, "Dr. Angry and Ms. Comatose."
  9. My friend got trashed at a halloween party and we were talking about crazy stuff in the Guiness Book of Records. Somehow he came up with this one. He does like to be a fool for attention that's for sure.
  10. When you do editing you just have to be realistic and not elaborate too much.
