  1. Reminds me of Steve Martin's old bit about he could never be a woman, he'd just stand in front of the mirror and play with his tits all the time.
  2. It's a wee bit damp out here, probably climable, though we did have about 12 hours of steady rain, and the stone might be a little tender. I haven't heard from any of the regular crew, I don't know that anyone is coming out tonight.

    Iraq

Too late.....and we are not at war....we are occupying another country. Please get it right. Thank you Kevbone! Exactly right. The war has been over for quite some time, it's the occupation that hasn't gone so smoothly. "Occupation" is an ugly word that folks, both in the administration and the citizenry in general, don't want to own up to, but its much more accurate than "Iraq War." Oh, and Scott? You are right too. 4000+ Americans have died for nothing.
  14. Where does Tim live these days, is he still based in Der? I haven't seen him in a long time. There's some nice photos there, thanks for the link Mark.
  15. Well, I suppose I'm off topic now that we're all about dogs, but back on page 1 where Raindawg chastised our original poster for asking for crowds, I'd like to point out that wet side crags like Index benefit from higher traffic, and if things aren't climbed regularly, they disappear back into the slime. That place needs more people on more routes if you ask me. Tried any of those face routes on the right side of Private Idaho lately? Bolts look kind of funny in moss carpets.
  16. She's just from New York, they all sound like that.
  17. Watch the clip! He's been banned, and banned men tell no tales (or start any threads)
  18. Kev, remember that board you used to belong to but got banned from? Bfgn2lOSx6M
  19. Hugh, please stay where you are. Our representatives will be by shortly to pick you up.
  20. Liam Neeson and Edward Norton played racist characters who underwent redemption and transcendence in the course of their respective films. Would you say the message of those movies is anti-semitic? Sure, Gary Busey is an actor, and the beliefs of the characters he plays do not necessarily reflect his personal feelings, but to sign on for a project like this: "In a new Turkish movie, "Kurtlar Vadisi - Irak" ("Valley of the Wolves--Iraq") U.S. soldiers are portrayed as brutal murderers who "kill dozens of innocent people with random machine gun fire, shoot the groom in the head, and drag those left alive to Abu Ghraib prison - where a Jewish doctor cuts out their organs, which he sells to rich people in New York, London and Tel Aviv," according to AP. Gary Busey plays the Jewish-American doctor." where in fact the very purpose is to demonstrate how demonic and evil Jews and Americans are, is a questionable choice at best. I think Bill's point is how curious for you, who take umbrage at any disparagement of your religious tradition, would embrace the fuzzy spiritual ramblings of an actor who has no problems taking money to spread a blatantly anti-semitic message.
