That's funny, That could be a new catch phrase "Dude, your story is bullshit, what are you trying to pull, a - or something"
-
don't understand why people don't want to ski with me, i'm a sexy bitch! Timmy, it's not that you don't have any friends, it's that we are all deathly afraid of the gigantic horsecock duct taped to your head

If Sassy's is close, then DOC's is also nearby another fine establishment of the dancing kind

52 miles out and back. Most prefer to do a shuttle. This is still a 26 mile ride. Park one car at the ranger station on 126, and another at fish lakes 26 miles up 126. Sky, what type of trail is it, how do I get there, shoot me a pm, I think I might like to do the 52 this weekend. thanks

DAMN! I wish I had known about this race sooner, I'm getting ready for this one www.mtbrace.com in August. Sounds like the CP100 would have been a good fitness gauge.
-
Iain, for us un-computer geeks, what the hell is a ClockSyncInst.exe?
-
I've never done the trail that way before. I ave always ridden it from the top down and back up. If you are interested in a ride give me a PM
-
Sounds good Pete, but since I haven't climbed for shit in the last month I guess I'll be kicking all yous asses at the putt putt and blame my shitty climbing on my stellar golf game.

How long is the Mck trail? Is it a loop or out-n-back?
-
I wouldn't mind having it at my place, unfortunately, it's small and not very easy to get to. BBQ sounds great though!

The trail starts at about 4200'and drops down to about 3000', unless you want to ride one way, then the last mile are so are really steep and you head down to something like 1500' elevation. The first 6 miles are super sweet, rolling single track, very smooth and fast. Then the next 6 miles (if riding to Bald Butte) are a mix of semi loose soil and big rocks. From Bald Butte take a break under the constantly buzzing power lines and return up the trail from which you came. A strong rider can ride all the hills coming home (of which I am not) round trip takes anywhere from 2.5-3 hours. I recommend the ride to anyone who has ridden or attempted to ride in a lava tube with a nalgene full of sweet, sweet beer.

Just in case anybody cared. I rode the Surveyors Ridge trail on Monday and it is in great condition and free of snow from top to bottom.

Like I said, I grew up with brothers, no sisters, not to mention most people who know me would say that I'm still a little punk, so no worries, it's all good.

Son for daughter, should be a pretty fair trade
-
Oh god pleeeeaze, let's trade, please oh please I'll meet you half way across the Glenn Jackson, we'll slow down to 55mph and just throw our kids in the general vicinity of each others cars.

ChrisT, I have two kids, 15 yr old son and 12 yr old daughter. I would say that by far the only thing worse than a 15 yr old is a 12 yr old, preteen. What with her hormones all a raging, older boys looking VERY interesting, and woman hood no longer sprouting, but goddamn fully sprung. I grew up with three brothers and now with a son of my own I can say that boys are truly the drip dry version of humans. As long as you've given him a solid foundation, he's gonna figure things out for himself(for the most part) you should be there to keep an eye on things, but at this point in his life he might just need a confidant more than anything. just my .02

Funny shit Petey!

I'll be on the road in 1/2 hour, leaving shitville..er..I mean Wilsonville and heading to the ever gracious Timmy and Wife Becky's house. See ya all there
-
Good thing you bought the jar of Vaso, cause the only way I'm gonna be able to carry that thing is if we grease it up REAL good and cram it up the leg of my ultra tight, one-piece spandex, aerodynamically crafted race suit
-
Well here it is Friday morning, my head is thick with Terminal Gravitys IPA and as suspected DFA did not show him/her/its-self. It was good to see the local gang for beers again, yes Pete, even you

sketchfest replied to Jarred_Jackman's topic in Climbing Partners
Jarred, you need to hook-up with TG, he's out in Enterprise, sorta your neck-o-the woods. -
Just don't head to far over and overshoot (it easy to do) cause you'll end up in a series of deadends directly below the 2nd gendarme of the yocum and other than pulling some Twight like shit, you'll have to down climb some real crap.
-
See ya all tonight round 7:30. Me and the wifey will be ready to get a little drink on.mmmmmm...beeeer
-
If there is new snow I would stay away. The hourglass above the couloir will just dump all the freshiez down on you and your partners and deposit all of you down on the Reid.
