wait - i already have the week off - if i had the balls to take a garden shear to my toe i might even be able to put my climbing shoes on too!
-
I hope you pried that goop out from under your toenail with a nut pick or somethin'... ...that stuff is great on a cracker. if i could figure out why the hell i can't upload shit to the photo gallery i'd show ya'll a prize-winner i got going currently - sorta like trench foot but more here-and-now for me... :puke:
-
the gallery directly - i'm filling in all the required fields too (keywords, title, description) - tried renaming the files so they'd be unique - actually the first photo i tried loaded, but i can't see the thumbnail in "my gallery" option
-
take tape!!!! lots of tape! 2 weeks later and the leprous scabs on my hands are still oozing blood from that wierd course trout-creek basalt...
-
tried that - shit still don't work "Sorry the file requested can not be found. Perhaps you have lost your way? Maybe you should of brought an MLU or a PLB."
-
why do i always get error messages when uploading batches of photos? i try to load up 5 pictures but i get an the big-balled rodent of death and a pleasing reference to mlu's? then when i try again the images are already in the queue, but i get the same error message again when i hit submit? then i start all over and get this: Error creating resized original! Command: "/usr/bin/mogrify" -quality 90 -geometry 1875x2500 '/home/climb/cascadeclimbers.com/plab/data/500/dragontail1.JPG' Error code: 9 WHY?!? WHY WAS I MADE TO FEEL PAIN?!?
-
jeebus - why is it that everytime i see this pic i feel like i gotta go to the bathroom?
-
good 'nuff - you're aren't the ghosts of ballo's past for me then
-
i'm all for attacking folks, especially those who have shit that's cool that we want - but by that rationale, why can't we invade new zealand? or nepal? or canada? iran, iraq, afghanistan - fucking shitholes, all of them!
-
too easy - styrofoam snow the whole way - would be wise to be out of the lower gullies before the heat of the day brings in the artillery though

Did you see the part where it said "So too, oddly, is the worlds greatest sanction-busting nation, France"???? Maybe you missed that phrase. Actually was ripping them too. not to get into an argument on teh interweb, but the french are mentioned but once: "For the moment, ever-stricter sanctions on Iran seems the only answer. America is resolute about this. So too, oddly, is the world’s greatest sanction-busting nation, France. So the scope for tightening the economic ratchet on Iran, and the means to do so, look healthy. " the statement indicates a general dislike of the snail-eaters, but admits they are currently doing the right thing - but then again, maybe you're the guy who writes the SAT reading-comp questions and seems to divine something more out of it than i
-
odd - the article you asked us to read specifcally compliments the french for supporting action against iran - wtf?
-
i doubt it - i don't see many folks defending iran currently - a non-violent solution would be best though it's hard for the un to be anythign other than mealy-mouthed about shit when half the world is under the irrational impression that it's mission is global domination, cobra-commander style.

your name ain't tim, is it stranger? drive a sweet mustang?

Pearly Gates vs. Old Chute on Mount Hood southside
ivan replied to nigeljmcclung's topic in Oregon Cascades
you can climb liberty ridge w/ a single axe - when soloing i'd rather have a second tool - it's training weight for the slog and it makes everythign so much more fun when it matters -
ahhhhhhhhhh.... that'll do man, i hate flags... and after 210 i'm off the clock
-
powderhoudn - can you magnify your avatar? - i need my stiffie to be more complete (unless of course that's actually just david lee roth)
-
any clue what the enforcement method will be? fines/penalities? think i've seen a ranger on hood about once per 100 climbs...
-
if only my furniture was built to be climbed on i like to climb up onto my kitchen counter, also chimney in the doorways, also big bannister on the stairs - when my daughter sees me doing it, she manages to sound just like her ma - "eric, get down!"
-
of all the arguments i've heard on this board, this is one of them
-
want to do something in the n cascades or leavenworth area - preferably inane and dangerous - can't find anyone who has any of the week days off - any unemployed takers?
-
will have to stage a pic 2night - my 3 yr old daughters learned how to mantle onto windowsills at eye-ball level - pretty impressive actually - also got her french technique down on the banister
-
only shallow if not naked reckon that can go for both sexes
-
non-climber - a climber might have a better chance of untying herself
