dunno - they got capitals and kings n' organized religions, the common hoof-marks of civilization n' history. and the Ark of the Covenant too! i thought it was in some unmarked box in a goverment warehouse?
-
a fair # of people in this world suck though, so why worry about them or their moniker-based hangups? a simple solution would be spelling - no reason it can't be "sweet fawker," eh?

your likely favorite memory, 30 years hence, no doubt when the whole place looks more or less like it did before even the soviets arrived?

Finally something I can agree with bill on. World cuisines ranked in order of perfection: West Coast Mexican (Nayarit through Oaxaca) Tuscan Vietnamese Everything else seems to support my theory generally - the longer you've existed as a cohesive people w/ yer shit wired-tight, the more you've to contribute by way of tasty toppings for otherwise bland foods?

the hadza? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hadza_people holy shit, here are some people who could give a fuck about a fine horseradish sauce!

who would dare accuse the australians of being accoutered w/ rarefied, civilized sauces?
-
my intense period of google-fu led me to believe the skinnies only succumbed to the influence of the eye-talians okay, fine - somalias can be civilized - i recall somethign about them thare swahilis of yore setting up shop in-country anyhow - but what of the san? the sioux, firfuksakes? as for syria, closest i've done was lebanese n' morrocan, and can't recall much beyond the need for a bath-towel for want of a fork

ketchup pretty well sums it up, at least as a product of that which is unique to us - our usurpation of every unction the earth has to offer a testimony to our brilliance?

"...their combinations are limitless; none can comprehend them all. For these two forces are mutually reproductive; their interaction as endless as that of interlocked rings. Who can determine where one ends and the other begins?" - Sun Tzu (beyotch)

discuss. italy, france, china = sauces aplenty = civilized somalia, sudan, syria = not so much?

save a quirk of fate, my alcoholism, in its youthful phase, would have found me flash frozen in the back of an appalachian coal train - fast enough?

you can drive a tank (or a 97,000 ton aircraft carrier for that matter), but not a toyota?

thought you resented the state telling you how to live your life? IF such a scheme resutled in fewer deaths, maybe it's worth the loss of freedom - seems just daft if it only defers deaths...

most sub-21 types still need to get to school n' work though, eh? heard about a recent study too that looked at states that recently created different classes of drivers licenses, essentially making teens wait to drive at night, w/ others in the car, etc. the results of hte study showed a decline in fatalites for the teens, but a corresponding increase (exactly the same size as the decrease for the younger drivers) in the "adult" drivers - would seem to indicate then that getting old doesn't make you smarter, just having some scary expereinces and being forced to grow up or die.

holy jesus, were those 1/2 inchers you sunk bill?

"I, for one, have never advocated passive anything." - Fucking Gandhi

nonsense, send it to me - the universe has taken 3 of mine already, so, mine or not, i'm due (and i've been waiting to buy #4 until i've gotten one of the originals back)

can't imagine a more fulfilling life than being shacked up in index for a good long year or two, 'specially if yer a cultural-anthropologist

learned of gelignite when i read "the 7 pillars of wisdom," laurence of arabia's account of hanging out w/ fig-eaters in the Mighty Nefud back in the Big One - quite amusing actually, he constantly harangues and harps upon the unreliability of the coolie-carriers of said explosives, commenting on their Incredible Fear of the deadly loads on their backs, which they invariably ditched and pitched as far away from them as they could in moments of crisis - odd, really, given their latter fanatic acceptance of suicide-vests? nice to know shit can change anyhow, ahem, to the business - blazing heat at the farside this afternoon - jim at his avocation - mike n' i did the climbs around the headwall, including the thieving crack aforementioned - the offending item was in fact well fucked n' stuck, and despite the best efforts of the both of us, remains there to this very moment - we could just barely manage to get one of 2 nut tools on the trigger and its deep stuck - there's a tad bit of play when you hook it just right, but you can't do much to effect a pull afterwards - reckon you made a nice contribution to the route
-
will be out there today w/ nut tools and gelignite, so i'm sure you'll have it back soon enough
