Hey now Tree Boy, I actually voted for the one that's farther from Ballard!
-
Um, I don't have to leave my desk to have my opinion quashed based on my gender. Now why don't you try answering my question. Sisu, interesting response.

I know I am going to regret asking this....but I'm going to anyway. Why do you two have such hatred toward those who do not agree with you about our unprovoked invasion of Iraq? This country was ostensibly founded on the tenets of tolerance and freedom for all, and yet the values you are espousing in this conversation, well, they come across as other than that, and somehow imply that by disagreeing with the invasion, we are somehow unpatriotic.

The Buck is too small ,and DP's being out of town should not keep us from drinking downtown.
-
I'd like to go somewheres where I can get a little bit o' food, so I'm voting for the Owl and Thistle, since I unfortunately was unable to catch the last rotation into Ballard. The Eastside is not an option this week as we had it out of town last week.

Good morning lads and lasses! It's time to argue about where we are going to drink this week.

A team to replace bolts at Static Point
allison replied to Gaston_Lagaffe's topic in Climber's Board
Camoflauged hardware is easy to do, just get a couple of colors of spray paint and do it yourself. That is always a great suggestion, as is pming Mattp re Static Point history and stuff. He might know people who could tell you what you need to know about installing bolts. -
Alpental on Wednesday "a little heavy"? Dude, it was more than a little heavy!

I say go for someone who shares your enthusiasm for the outdoors. Do stuff together, and do stuff apart when the objectives are dissimilar, both will love, trust and tolerate the other's relationship with the outdoors. Oh, and having said that, I must say thanks again to Stefan for his assistance in helping me find "the guy".

Heh, I think that was a second-hand suggestion from me. Survival of the Prettiest , Nancy Etcoff Dancing Naked in the Mine Field , Kary Mullis next The Botany of Desire , Michael Pollan

Did you ski some Fresh, err, Slushies?
allison replied to ski_photomatt's topic in the *freshiezone*
We drove over Tiger Pass on Hwy 18 on the way back yesterday. T.P is at 1400 feet, and it was snowing there. It was 36 and snowing hard at Snoqualmie Pass. This is the last full week for Alpental. I be there Wednesday, weather permitting. -
Duh! The Near East is just the other side of the Cascades!
-
Didn't follow the carnage, er, news, all weekend....did we go to Code Red recently? As I work in places where large groups of people assemble, this presents a real hassle if we did in fact go to Red.

Went to Mission Ridge for da weeekend. Nice ski hill they have there. Got some nice lil' freshiez yesterday morning in the upper chutes, and some sweet windpacked stuff. Looks like it's a great place for inbounds rando, lots of sweet turns to be had for a little walking. Look forward to going there next year! We got 20% off on lift tix there by showing our seasons passes for other areas, brought the price of an all day ticket to around 30$. Don't know if this is a springtime only offer or all the time.

Censure: strong or vehement expression of disapproval, to criticize ot reproach in a harsh or vehement manner Censor: to delete (a word or passage of text) in one's capacity as a censor I think it's fair to say that there are some here who might censure you, however, any post deleting would have been censored. So what did we learn today? Highly educated folks can commit acts of plagarism, and they can misuse 50 cent words. One wonders how such an erudite man could commit such vile acts! Dude, you are so dense! The next country on our snit list is FRANCE! How DARE they disagree with us...never mind that without their help we'd still be eating boiled food and drinking warm beer!
