  1. OK I am going into Detox now. Sjayksnikghodskfjlfy, are you not also known as Ben? Or do I have your first name discomobulated in my head with the first name of another guy? Sheesh, all these double names, I think we should all be known by one name, like Morrissey and Cher.
  2. Ben be nice or Erik is going to beat you up!
  3. No Erik's was intentional...and you my friend must be used to having your name mispelled! Uncle Tricky was there too. I forgot him.
  4. Now that I have sobered up I am going to attempt to put together last night's Pub Club. Dave Schuldt, Icegirl, Sjaykowski, Matt, MattP, Dr. Jay, Jon, Thinker, Chris W, Ehmmic, Aint This Great, Jay B, Von Spanker, V, Alpine K, Distel32, Cracked, Ewik, David Parker, Sayjay, Von Spanker, A_A, Mr. Natural, Dr. Jay's friend, and I bet I have forgotten a couple. It was a good one last night!

    TORTILLAS

I think it's pretty useful to have both available. Really people, there's the burrito and the quesadilla, both of which really couldn't exist without our friend the flour tortilla. On the other hand, a small little soft taco, redolent with bits of something tasty and delicious-smelling, well, this all needs to be surrounded in a homemade corn tortilla. Erik, I think you are being mean to make us pick!
  9. Oh wow, you are JayB...thought you were j_b....totally different guy!!!
  10. Best shows REM Music Hall, 1984 (M. Stipe in full leg cast) Everything But the Girl, 1994 or 5, Backstage Robyn Hitchcock pretty much anywhere he goes John Cale, 1982 or 3, Metropolis The The, 2000, Showbox Elvis Costello, 1999, Paramount Best shows I have ever worked, in regard to production values Dire Straits Sade Peter Gabriel The Ring, Seattle Opera Biggest shows I have ever worked Michael Jackson, 24 trucks, fully loaded in and then Jacko called the show off so we loaded out and were done before dinner Janet Jackson, 22 trucks I think, show was less than an hour long
  11. You know what band I really like right now? Gang of Four. That stuff sounds as good as the day they recorded it in the early 80s. I'm not talking "I love a man in uniform" so much as I am talking "Anthrax." I do like the Thievery Corporation and would be forever in the debt of whoever would like to burn their discs for me!
  12. Hmm, I can't quite remember, maybe you should check!
  13. Matt or someone, can you please explain cross-loading? I am learning some things about snow safety and I don't know what that term means. I would think that that slope would be very prone to avalanches from what little I know now. If Charlie goes up there, would it be advisable to dig some pits? Perhaps how often?
  14. Hey! Don't stick your dick in my friend Pat's mail slot! His dog might bite!
  15. Alpinist gives me I love you you love me hives.

Chatter in the house if anyone is inclined.
  17. Zeek's is on 59th and Phinney, iffin' I am not mistaken. From I5 take the 50th exit, heading W until 50th hits Phinney. Go north along the Woodland Park Zoo and Zeek's will be on your right. They have a little bit of parking north of their building.
  18. Crusher, but named after the hat cupcake

  20. I can tell just from the headlines that Buzzflash is not what I am looking for either. I understand that all reporting enjoys some sort of bias. At this moment the major US media has slanted itself, by and large, so far in favor of the war, that there seems to be nothing left of the actual news. Not being blindly in support of the invasion does not an infidel make. So, seriously, anyone found a decent news source? I read a couple of copies of the China Post yesterday, and while it is not exactly front page news there, at least the invasion was reported on for what it was and not a war with Iraq. There was a lot being reported in that paper that is not in the US papers. I do not have cable and am limited to the Internet.
  21. I almost included this line in my above post: NOT Fox, Trask!
  22. Hi, Am getting way tired of censored American news in the invasion. Would like to find source with more information and less pro-American Invasion bias. Anyone find anything on the Web, a foreign paper maybe, with these qualities?
  23. D, I am not getting only posts I started.
