For the record: I do complain about posts that seem over the line to me. Sometimes they are dealt with, and sometimes they are not. The gang bang was deemed "not that bad" by the one mod I discussed it with. The attacks on me by Tomcat happened while I was out of town. Apparently he was angered by the fact that I very plainly told him to his face that I didn't want to talk to him at a Pub Club after he has behaved badly in PM and on the board in my general direction. There were several witnesses to the exchange. I may have mistakenly identified "Cobra" as Ray. I don't know if I did or not, no one is talking. If I did, it's certainly not the first time it has happened. He thought I was "Attitude" for months. I am not. It is not a big deal. No, I was not thrilled to see Ray last night. He scares me. All he did was call me a "dumb dunce" though, so maybe I really have nothing to worry about. One more thing: while I openly admit to being a woman, I have not played the gender card. It has been others that have focused on that detail, and chosen to trash my name based on that. I am going to hide under the couch now.

While I cannot speak for the entire female gender on this subject, I can say that the idea of a consensual gang-bang is not part of the typical feminine sexual psyche, and the idea makes the skin crawl and the stomach turn. You can believe me or don't believe me, but it is definitely over the line. It sounds just like rape run through our filters. As far as references to prison rape, well, that is over the line and not funny too, and if it weren't on the board would we be missing so much? I especially support this idea if the object of the reference has a problem with jokes about he/she being raped in prison. This is not so much about this one thread as it is about what is objectionable. I didn't see anyone freaking out when the line was drawn in the proverbial sand re pedophilia and the rape and abuse of kids. For me, this hits the triggers too.

As far as Scott's remark, well, I made a mistake. No harm, no foul, no worries. As far as the other issue, well, I am unable to see how asking pointed questions about people's beliefs deserves the kind of personal attacks that I get. Rob, For the record, I am not trying to pick a fight with you. The choice of words was intentional. Women do not generally want to have sex with groups of men, this is something that is forced, or at the very least, coerced, upon them. Having said that, I am sure there are exceptions. I am not one of them, and the idea of rape sickens me and frightens me. Trask, sorry I am not more docile and as you put it, "sexy."

Trask, let me get this straight: I asked how being anti-this war=not being a patriot, or something to that effect. The response to this is something oddly threatening, from someone who once threatened to sue me for libel, and some stuff about me getting gang-raped, or gang-banged, for the more liberal-minded among us. And I am supposed to lighten up? Where's the balance and proportionality in all of this? I'm surprised no one had mentioned the Toyota Highlander. My BF has one that I drive a LOT, and despite feeling mighty like a soccer mom when behind the wheel, it's a sweet ride.
