  1. did our buddy Kim do this??? He wants to. And Billco looked the other way while the fiendish plan was being gestated.
  2. Holy shit. That's a cool video.
  3. Seattle. Anchorage. San Fransisco. Honolulu.
  4. I'd still like to hear more about how we should "protect our borders". Ideas?
  5. The fact is, Democrats demonstrated in North Korea that they trust our enemies too much.
  6. Subic Bay, Philippines.
  7. Thanks, in large part, to Bill Clinton, Bill Richardson, and Madeline Albright. More Dems, anyone?
  8. Because liberals and their lawyers stand in the way of reasonable measures?
  9. Should we have gone only after Nazi Party members and spared the German populace the suffering we inflicted? If so, how?
  10. I think it would be absolutely great if the Dems tried to begin impeachment hearings now. Afghanistan unjustified? I think you're on the 0.00001% fringe with that belief, Matt.

  12. Do you really think Mr Gates would allow his loafers to be soiled in such a way?
  13. Mailbox On Saturday The mud: Ahh. Much Better. Stuart on Sunday from Rat Pac Ridge: The payoff for the 1800' climb. (Yes--the gate is locked) Nice riding
  14. Mailbox/Granite became Mailbox/Tiger Cable. It rained and snowed Saturday and the trail on Mailbox was a complete mudfest. It was so muddy I thought my boots were going to get sucked off my feet. Still a fair amount of snow above the trees on Mailbox too. Went mountain biking in mostly-sunny CleElum yesterday. Much nicer.
  15. Again I ask: what do you think are Microsoft's transgressions? I already know what the EU courts think. MS has already resolved the US issues. I'm asking you to think beyond what you read in the NYTimes.
  16. Agressive? I know there are some (clearing throat noise) who just hate aggressive.
  17. You brought up "unfair" business practices. I'm just suggesting you elaborate. What do you consider so unfair? Is it simply their success? Is it that classic liberal/socialist desire for equal outcomes?
  18. A right-wing conspiracy, Matt? Could be that it's actually a superior product that attempts to adapt to a changing world and constant technological hardware improvements? It would be nice if the complete upgrades were free, but someone has to pay those code writers, shareholders, etc. If someone is unhappy with MS products, there are still completely viable alternatives like the one you mentioned. Imagine a world where everyone was still using Windows 3.1...or DOS. Things change, and I like MS products despite a moderately frustrating learning curve.

    Blanks, or live ammo?
  20. I honestly don't know. I*'m just sayin... I gotta go to bed. Mailbox and Granite double @8am. TBC
  21. Bellingham. Probably the whitest city in the entire state. A great place from which to preach your collectivist message and push for social reform. What a dick.
  22. Yes, I have. But I'm not talking about friendly, I'm talking about what I believe is the grossly erroneous notion Seattle is culturally superior to any other place in this country. The city is little more than white condescension, subconscious racism, and a dash of wealth-guilt, all packaged in Subaru and Volvo station wagons.
  23. Gotta disagree. Washingtonians--and Seattleites in particular--have a reputation for twofacedness when it comes to race (yes, I do believe that's a word). I could be wrong, but I'll just bet minority citizens prefer the open racism of the heartland to the subsurface racism and smug white arrogance of Seattle. Exactly what is the racial makeup and wealth distribution in this culturally superior city you speak of?
  24. ...and you, Nobrain13, and Proly would have been right here whining about those poor German boys who just wanted to lay down their rifles...and all the collateral damage done to the magnificent French countryside. No doubt our naval shelling and use of flamethrowers would have raised howls of blood on our hands from the likes of you, and Prole would be questioning the motivation of our soldiers doing the bidding of evil multinational corporations like Ford. The summary executions of German POW's with empty magazines would have you, no doubt, renouncing your US citizenship.
